Mr. Swift is a technically proficient mechanic but he lacks a level of professionalism, business acumen and most unfortunate a customer service attitude.



Over the five months that Joe Swift had my vehicle, he didn't call me one time to give a status update, didn't call once to inform me of any work he was doing. I had to call him and a weekly basis. For the first three months, Joe provided excuse after excuse of why the estimate was not available. After the estimate, he provided no assistance in coordinating with the insurance company.



Not only did it take 5 months to fix the exact problem that I informed him of - he or his staff dented my door and refused to claim any responsibility.



When I turned in my vehicle, the verbal estimate was less than $1000. Five months later and after dealing with the arrogant Joe Swift - the bill came to $3000+.



There are plenty of master mechanics in this city. Even if you have to pay an extra $10-$20 per hour of labor - do it.
