1 star is honestly too many for this business. If you would have asked me after my first visit here, I would have told you that despite the old man smell of the building and the fact that it looked like a place you would get kidnapped - it was ok. The customer service was something that you don t get anywhere else. The eye doctor was unprepared for a contact lens exam though and seem to be overwhelmed by the exam altogether, but the customer service made up for it. Now however, is another story. 5 months ago, I requested that a contact lens box be ordered, never heard back from him..I m not one to track someone down either. It s his job, not mine to remember. A month and a half ago, I requested that a written rx be mailed to me, as I have moved away. 2 weeks ago, I had to call back to ask where it was as I had not received it yet. Just a couple days ago, I finally got a letter from him. It was not my written rx as I had requested, but a bad copy of my history exam sheet from that day with doctor scribbles on it. Needless to say, the vision center here was unable to decipher it. I called him yesterday to tell him I needed an written rx, that he said hewas unable to send me since the doctor is partially retired now. It would be another month of waiting if I wanted to. So, I requested that he call the vision center and verbally give them rx -- he declined since he said he was not in the office that day. He then said he would call in first thing today. Just called him to ask why it has not been called in, he now says it will be tomorrow as his wife is sick (an excuse he has used many times). Needless to say, I have an appointment at LensCrafters this afternoon - a REAL optometrist...who does provide fast service. I will NEVER go to Hans Optical again or refer anyone to him...WORST SERVICE EVER!
