The unit I rented had multiple owners before one hired Ciege. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever done business with. I had multiple problems with a water heater and furnace just to list a few. Never resolved until the owner appeared from out of state. The owner changed management companies due to their lack of response and professionalism. Now that I have vacated the property, no one can seem to find record of my deposit and Ciege was the last management company to have record of it which is no surprise, as the lost my first months rent check for months. Now I'm out over $400. BEWARD and STAY AWAY FROM THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY.

After leasing for a year & half Ciege Propteries took over from the owner who was in ill health. Legal action is in the works for an eviction 2 mo after the lease was renewed with the owner and was assaulted by the man who illegally changed the locks. Police reports have been rec'd and I will be filing in 2017 for Code violations, assault, misrepresentation of a professional rental property company. Do not rent or hire this company as the owner has not been hands on since 2013. The office goes by there rules and not the law.
All documents are unsigned and not dated. Now the property is ran by thugs & dopers which is where most of there properties are located in a zip code that does not promote law enforcement.
BEWARE!

Absolutely worst property management service I've ever worked with. I own 5 properties: 3 in Florida; 1 in Indianapolis; and 1 in Philadelphia. I work with three other property managers outside of Ceige. Comparatively, they are completely incompetent, unresponsive, and irresponsible. My properties furnace stopped working, and Ceige never informed me of the issue. They sent space heaters to mollify the tenant, but did not approach me for a solution. I've since switched management companies and am much happier.

I am the president and general manager of Ciege Property Management. I was discouraged by the previously reviews and after further investigation, my team failed to provide proper service in both instances. Our company is built on honesty, hard work and transparency which is the reason why we have established an attractive track record since 2010. To the customers that we failed- I offer my sincere apologies and take responsibility for the companies poor performance. Although isolated- it does not reflect what our company is about. We strive to improve daily.

Today I drove two hours from Fort Wayne at 8 am for a 10 am meeting to look at a property on 817 Jefferson Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46201. When we got to the house, it was fitly outside. The mail box was full of weeks worth of mail and trash was all over the porch. And on top of that, our leasing agent, Laura Ewing, never showed up or called. I called her three times to get a hold of her. At first she didn't pick up, but the next few calls went right to voice mail, meaning she was ignoring us. We waited outside the house 45 minutes before giving up. We were ready to rent and they lost a sale. This was so unprofessional on their end and I highly recommend never dealing with this property group ever.

Honesty helps

This realtor group is one of the most unprofessional real estate businesses ive ever seen. There maintenance crew lied several times to me implying that the property was ready for move in. The supposed property management had never even gone to the property to verify if the job was completed correctly. In fact they rushed me to have the property inspected by the housing agency, only for the inspector to show up and see door not hung, expired fire extingushers, and smoke detectors etc.. I mean they didnt even hang the mailbox how will you pass a housing inspection with no doorknobs or a mailbox or something displaying an address. That doesnt sound like a completed house...but the maintenance crew insisted the unit was completly rehab, and there management took there word, paid them but never took the time out to visit the unit before the housing inspectors came. I informed them the house was not ready for an inspection due to these samethings 3 weeks prior to the inspection. In 3 wks this ciege property group never made an attempt to visit the property make sure it was ready for an inspection before they scheduled the inspection and FAILED. I guess they thought the housing inspector wouldnt have a problem with doors not hung..or doorknobs being on doors, gutters not cleaned, expired fire and safety equipment, no malibox, and thats just the first part of the list. Im forced to continue waiting now after giving them a total of 3 months to fix the unit and get it ready for inspection. On the day of the inspection the supposed leasing manager of the property showed up 2 minutes before the inspector. As if that was going to be enough time to fix all that was wrong before the inspector could see. In fact the supposed leasing manager admits to me that hes never even been to this property, so why would he be the one to meet the inspector and he admits he doesnt know ANYTHING about the property. Thats bad business,if i were the owner of this company id definitely have to get a more honest and reliable maintenance team and also better informed leasing agents. Who doesnt lie to the tenant and the owner about the progress made on units. Now im forced to hope that the house will pass the second inspection if it doesnt ill have to find another house and would have wasted a whole four months.
