as a customer I want to remove my five star review with a one star because the place was clean and other employees were or seem to be very polite but the artist that I was dealing with change his price hourly on my big back Phoenix he did not use the pain free green liquid to help me get through instead of making me have more pain by alcohol rubbing me down extra and caused me extra pain that ended up paying more money I want to change this to a one star review because of dishonest artists.

i just got a tattoo cover up from them yesterday yea i cried like a baby but the guy that was doing mine was very understanding he even said it would hurt he did an amazing jobs and i am already sending people his way shawn is really good and my mother my aunt and my cousin all have gone and we all love it:) they now have a life time customer :) much love to the shop w.washington & s.lynhurst

Worst experience ever. Ended up going to delta 9 and getting a great tattoo.

I have had 2 of my 5 tats done at the W. Washington Street one. The first one I had done was amazing and I really loved the artist. The second time I went, the previous artist I had moved to the Avon one. I was with a group of people and we decided to stay at the washington street one. The artist I had was awful. He was rude and very antisocial. When he did mine, he pushed way to hard on my chest, was digging the needle in, and was just very rude. I had told him what I wanted done and he had to ask me when he was in the middle of doing my tattoo if he could add color, which I had already said I wanted before he started. I will not be going back to any Artistic Skin Design because of this.

The North location is the best! Their space is private. They like what they do and they are friendly. No hassles.



Forget the Noblesville location. Completely different set of rules. Don't follow posted business hours. (Open until 10:00pm but when you arrive at 8:45pm you will be told winter hours are until 9:00pm and they need more than 15 minutes to pierce your ear). Yup, they rudely turn away 2 customers and required additional documentation which they tell you only after you arrive.

I was turned away after calling to see if I could come in and told to call for an appointment. When I called I was told they didnt do appointments by phone and needed a deposit.

I was willing to spend alot of money in the future for good work but if these troglodytes cant even put a pen to paper for an appointment they arent touching me.

I expected to get an unbelievable tattoo for the money I spent...thanks for nothing! Very rude artist (if thats what ya wanna call him) I got way overcharged and had to have another shop fix this mess I paid good money for....Listen, there are way better shops in Indy that will treat you like a person, not a dollar amount, I suggest you go else where, you'll get better work for a better price. BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! And quit saying that your the most experienced shop in Indy...cause your not

I have received 1 large pit bull portrait and my wifes name and my wife has got one on her wrist and my step daughter has got one on her belly and one across her foot and they have all been done by FREAK from the west washington st shop i have a few more in mind and im turning anybody who ask to go to him, he has some fine work and i plan on giving him all my work and anybody else i can turn on to him,the store is clean and all the work i have seen in there and come out of there has been top notch ,that is a great group of guys over there and i would recommend them to everyone.

Wouldnt be my first stop. You need to make sure you catch the right artist at the right time.
