ZERO STARS! Upcharges competition fees by exorbitant amount!! Neither studios we are at now does. Totally unorganized. Schedules constantly changed. Even teachers left out of the loop. Dishonest in fees charged-promises made. Multiple incidents where parents overcharged. Response always "That's what they told me. I have no idea why I was told that." Caught in multiple lies. Used former dancers name to qualify in jr. division. Told a competition owner that a dancer was injured even though she was not at comp to keep dance in the lower age. Plays favorites. Overpriced. Unqualified teachers. Costumes are a rip-off. Purchases clearance costumes and tries to make the team members fit into them-right size/style or not. Charged $125 for $25 costume! My daughter didn't dance at recital bcuz she outgrew the discontinued costume she was given. I told owner many times at beginning of year that it was too small/She said "looks fine." Charged $110 for Kohls BOGO Athletic pants & tank top (cost $30-Max!) My daughter's duet music was either cut wrong or stopped playing in 3 of 4 comps -forced to finish without music or walk offstage during her number. Unacceptable, especially when you pay $50 for a 3 minute dance and $175 for our half of the duet choreography. Fee. Blamed the teacher for the wrong music even though owner burns the music. Blamed DISNEY on having technical difficulties when she didn't have my daughters solo song on the CD!!! Parents concerns are ignored. She won't respond to emails or texts if you have a problem or concern. Owner will not accept blame for any disagreement- she turns the story around to make YOU out to be the bad guy. This studio that I once loved is now awful. Mass exodus of students and teachers. I was also lied to and ripped off on a personal $750 purchase I made from her. Too bad it took me until this last year to see through her BS. Save your money...there are multiple good studios in the area, and I have since found them.
