Camp Maranatha is a Christian camp offering Bible studies and aid to Christian work in Southern California's local churches. Camp Maranatha was purchased in 1950 and donated to the Advent Christian churches of Southern California and is built on more than 25-acres land. The camp serves young and old, Baptists, Methodists, and Advent Christians. Located in the San Jacinto Mountains near Idyllwild, Calif., Camp Maranatha offers weeklong or weekend getaways. The camp offers a well-maintained facility and offers various activities to people of all ages, including crafts, seminars, Bible classes, recreation, and campfires. Camp Maranatha also invites families and individuals to attend conference-sponsored camps. It also offers kids and teen camps, and teen and women s retreats.
