In the Spring of 2011 I decided to buy a horse. Being new to horses, I researched long and hard, and finally looked to the Lazy Sousa Ranch. Jan was so helpful, and made sure I found the horse that was a perfect match for me. My husband came along, and well, he got hooked. He bought a his horse from Kate. They match perfectly. Jan and Kate were retiring a brood mare who came home with us as well. Jan and Kate have both been helpful with questions and training concerns, helping us to get the most from our horses. Since then, we have purchased from them again. They made my first purchasing experience above par. We live in Canada, they had all the paperwork, vet work and everything arranged. I highly recommend contacting Jan and Kate, you will not regret it :D

If anyone has the privilege of visiting the Lazy Sousa Ranch, be prepared to observe beautiful surroundings with two absolutely amazing , talented and knowledgable women. I have purchased three incredible horses from them. My animals are well breed, impeccably trained and I have learned a ton! Thank You Jan and Kate! We also purchased beef and it is the best beef I have every tasted! This ranch is a piece of heaven on earth!

I have purchased two TWH from the Sousa Ranch since 2006. Both have been high quality horses. I couldn't ask for better assistance that I received from both Jan and Kate over the years, helping me with guidance and training that I wanted to pursue. I have also had some of their beef and the taste was equal to 5 star restaurant beef at a reasonable price. They give exceptional care to all of their animals and have deep compassion for all the people they touch.

Not only have I bought one but two wonderful TWH's the quality and standards of this family is flawless !!! Kate insure that my first TWH was at my level of horsemanship and then Jan stepped me up several levels with #2 and both are perfect fits and life partners!!!!!!! BOTH have gone out of their way and return phone calls with my questions about this wonderful breed !!!! Thank you Kate and Jan both horses were trained beyond my wildest dreams !!!!!

Watch what you agree to with these two they may sell you a registered animal that doesn't have the right paperwork. They also are willing to lie on applications would not do business with them again. Animals are of average quality.
