My fiance and I booked our wedding at the Barn of Barrington before they announced their closing earlier this year. The same company runs Prairie Lodge. Since finding out about the closing (they never called, we found out through word of mouth) they have been nothing but unprofessional. We have not gotten our security deposit back. They have stopped returning our phone calls. When we have gotten a sales associate on the phone, they have been rude, defensive, and incapable with providing us with any real information. Our complaint with the Better Business Bureau has gone unanswered. I would not trust anyone associated with the company to take care of my wedding. Their actions and behavior have unacceptable.
