Horrible experience. All around.
Clowns gave me the run around.
Gave me my vehicle back half assed.sensors unplugged.exhaust leak on on exhaust manifolds.and I don't think they built the motor right because it knocks and sounds like shit.
Do NOT take anything here

What a gem! I was told I had a crack in my head gasket, so I decided to take my car to Castillo engine rebuilding. Turns out I was misdiagnosed and only had a valve issue. Thanks Efren, you really saved me a ton of money!

Honest, reliable, and AFFORDABLE!!!I have worked with Vince several times now. And every time he has gone on and beyond to help, and get my car, and boat back on the road or water. He has always been honest upfront and beyond reasonable on pricing. I'm a customer for life. If you want to work with a caring, honest, and AFFORDABLE family run shop then go and ask for Vince Jr. You won't regret it. I saw a review from March that was no where close to the truth. That guy sounds like a blood thirsty ambulance chaser of an attorney!!! Don't read or trust that kind of review. These guys are LAGIT!!!!

Please stay away from this shop. You are better off searching for a reputable speed shop in Orange County. These money hungry people will only take your money and play dumb until they milk your money. In addition please contact the BAR if you feel like you're not receiving the right service. If you need an attorney who specializes in automotive repair fraud, contact me. Do not -- I repeat -- do not go to this shop that's run by Vince, Efrain, some old dude who I believe is the dad, they lack automotive experience and are definitely not trustworthy because as mentioned, you will get sucked every penny. Collect all documentation.
This shop is place of hell where you and your car will not receive the service needed.

Had some heads worked on for a custom project and couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of work. Jr is of great help and gives reasonable prices.

Excellent customer service they make you feel like family! Im always going there to visit because there knowledge on vehicles is just amazing and they share everything they know! Being a military veteran they also consider because they have one of there own thanks allot to that family and there coworkers

What can i say this place is just amazing! The work they do is just out of this world, i had some heads done by vince jr and they came out perfect. im most defeitly going back to get my 302 stroked. Vince jr will hook you up, everything is precise.

Had my Lt1 built a few years back I'm back for ma second time great atmosphere no beating round da bush straight foward answers and questions ... ask for VINCE JR great guy will build excactly wat u want or wat u can afford ....and will build special pakages for diff motors depending on wat u want.... Great place satisfied customer next build might b n LS Motor ..... Get at them....

#1 place to get any engine. Just call Vince JR and you’ll be convinced at Castillos they know engines. I got my 01Cobra TT setup, I was more than happy with my new setup and they also fixed my Cayenne Turbo, right now I got my new project on the way with the MAN Vince JR.

Four years ago build a 355 still running strong build many after that hard to find a good shop like its hard to find a good barber castillos teats you like family cant wait for my stroker to be ready

Castillo's Engine Rebuilding is the spot with easy to talk to people, I cant wait to get my 350 engine the road again. now with 4 barrel and ed cam kit should have more response. They keep there word !

I took my 1980 chevy el camino with a 305 engine and had it rebuild, it was smoking and back firing alot...when I took it in they were real into detail and explained all the steps that need to be done. they did the job in about a week and it was still tripping and had a loud ticking sound....so they gave me there word and told me to drive it for about 1mth to see if the knocking sound would go away and to see if i get the perofrmance i needed....sure enough the sound didnt go away and my performance sucked....so i took the car back and they put in a BRAND NEW MOTOR!!! I was so happy that they keep there word and warranty.... Know im burning up the streets of SOUTH GATE, lol....and im loving the peroformance of my BRAND NEW 305...They do good owrk and are kool guys to talk to and hang out with....the only bad thing is that they dont call you when they say they are going to call you, but i do understand that they have alot of busniess ...but will highly recommend them...
