Huntington Christian School offers educational programs to more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through eight. It operates as a ministry of First Christian Church of Huntington. Its curriculum includes reading, writing, English, language, mathematics, science, social studies and computer application. In addition, it provides daily Bible lessons, chapel service and conversational Spanish and Latin American studies. The school organizes field trips to museums, concerts, nature studies and whale watching. Its facilities include science laboratory, multimedia center, classrooms, library, medical room, and offers food and transportation services. Its extracurricular activities include picture day, fundraising events, new parent meetings and competitive sports, including basketball, volleyball, football and softball. Huntington Christian School is a member of Christian Athletic League of Orange County. It is located in Huntington Beach, Calif.
