Fred's Automotives 1407 1st St E, Humble, TX 77338 is one of the most disrespectful shade tree mechanic shops I've dealt with in awhile. Charged me to change my brake pads , but didn't change them. When I called to inquire about it, Fred was nonchalant about the ordeal offering no apology. Instead he wanted to explain to me why one of their mechanics didn't change them, because half the life of the old break pads were left. I explained to him that I paid for a service and my wife will be there in 2 days time, in the morning time. When my wife got there and spoke with him he expected her to wait for his guys to get back from lunch before addressing the issue. My wife merely informed him, been there done that, ain't going to happen. Needless to say, they did what should've been done to begin with. It had me bothered. So, to all VETERANS, such as myself. Please don't support this sorry S.O.B. by not using his services. The camaraderie would be greatly appreciated.
