I don't get my hair cut often and because I had a bad experience at a local salon a long time ago, I had decided I'd stick to mall "chain" salons. However, someone from the barber shop that I get my son's hair cut at recommended I go to Alex Cutz and More to get my hair cut. Initially I had a lot of trouble finding it because Google maps had me going the opposite direction for whatever reason, but finally found it across the street from the Atascocita Lutheran Church. The woman who cut my hair was super courteous and sweet. I had a lot of hair, and wanted to cut a significant amount of it. She did exactly what I asked her to. I will definitely be going to this salon from now on.

Disappointed and feeling taken advantage of. Was quoted a price for updos by the owner. Shop is closed on Saturdays so was told stylist would come to my home. I did not feel the need to re-visit price with stylist as the loose buns we chose were pretty simple. Stylist proceded to do braiding styles that were flat, ugly and not what we requested and then proceded to charge three times the price quoted by the owner and stated that styles done at home cost more. I tried to work this out directly with the stylist and she pretty much told me she would rather take my money and not serve me again. So here I am writing this review because I'd hate for someone else to fall victim to this practice of deception.
