Spiral Industries was established in the spring of 1969. It manufactures tube and hose assembly products for the automotive, trucking, marine and off-road industries. The company utilizes computer-controlled manufacturing machines to produce several of its product lines. It uses flash freezing for its hose fittings to ensure that the products will function as designed even in the harshest environments. The company uses a dispatch oven to heat its components to 130 degrees Celsius or 266 degrees Fahrenheit before they are flash frozen. Each tube assembly is pressure and leak tested throughout the entire testing process. Spiral Industries is headquartered in Howell, Mich. The building consists of 50,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space as well as 5,000 square feet of offices.
