My entire family has been using Taylor Cooling and Heating for over 35 years and they have always exceeded our expectations on speed, low pricing, and integrity. I commonly leave a key for them.



By our word of mouth Taylor Cooling and Heating has served dozens of family, friends, and neighbors in Memorial and Katy and I have never heard a complaint. This company is THE only company I would ever trust enough to recommend with 100% confidence to my 80 year old mother or my little sister.

Moved in to a town home in Oak Forest, noticed the AC was getting older and was only barely cooling the house, so we opted to have the whole cooling unit replaced the whole nine yards, the compressor, the blower, you name it, an all new Ruud system (usually quite reliable/reputable). Was installed in early July.. Our electric bill in June was a mere $168 (old AC), July this jumped to $285 (new AC), and August $328 (new AC). We've had to make half a dozen or more service calls to them for warranty work, and were told numerous times oh it's just low on refrigerant but it's fine. Last weekend after the rain and the cool front our AC again starting freezing up, line and coils, we called on Monday again for a service appointment they didn't bother to come out until Wednesday which was ok, but then delayed us to Saturday to actually make the needed repairs. We've had this new AC go out at least 7 times, and have had nothing but problems. Our handy man got so fed up with this mess he came over and personally supervised the work being done. They arrived at 9:30am and it's now 3pm and we still don't have AC, and this is completely new AC system? The employees have been nice and respectful, aside from the owner who my better half says has been a real @$$ to her both times he's been here.. When I told him we've had nothing but problems since this was installed he just blew me off with a condescending remark, and this after spending thousands of dollars for this installation, service calls, warranty work, etc. So we've had nothing but problems, excessively high light bills, an AC that runs 24/7 and never cools our home, freezes up and needs constant repair calls, and when we have tried speaking with the owner he's been a real jerk to myself and my family. Unprofessional or incompetent, who knows, what we do know is it's 92 degrees in our home, 88 outside, and we still don't have AC and we're having to deal with a rude owner whose customer service skills are about on par with a bag of snakes. Thank God for our handyman making sure this got done right finally, as these so called professionals can't be trusted to get the job done right the first time. I would not use them for any of your HVAC needs under any circumstances.
