It all started in 1975 in Sinaloa, Mexico, when a small restaurant opened its doors offering grilled chicken prepared with a special recipe. This combination was an immediate success, and as a result of the growth and popularity, the Pollo Feliz brand was born. During the 1990's, we became de most recognized grilled chicken brand in Mexico. The brand's incredible growth resulted in the opening of Pollo Feliz stores in 167 cities across Mexico, with over 500 stores by the year 2000. In 2001, the Pollo Feliz brand became international, through the opening of our first store in the United States in Tucson, AZ. Six years later, our international growth continued in Houston, TX.
