While Dr Maislos is friendly, he is supported by the rudest and awful staff I have encountered in ages. I was there for an ingrown toenail. Procedure was awfully painful (the dozen of needle pokes in the toe just to numb it was very uncomfortable) but when the toe woke up, it was horrendous. The most painful weekend (yes the entire weekend) I have ever had. The several food poisoning I have had in various parts of the globes were heaven compared to this. Unlike a stomach cramp, this is constant relentless throbbing pain. Do not believe their website "Once the numbness wears off, there may be some very mild discomfort but rarely does this require pain medicine"., it was plain awful, I would never do it again. 2 years later, I look at my nail and wonder whether I would do it again or prefer to suffer the pains linked to ingrown nails. I would definitely not do it here.



But what irritates me the most (and prompted me to report my bad experience) is that I discovered recently a collection on my credit report. My insurance apparently did not cover the 90% they were meant to and there was an outstanding $65 (!!) to be paid. I never received a call from them, but they sent it to collection !!!! For $65, something which I could have paid over the phone with a credit card had they had the decency to call me and inform me about this outstanding amount I was in no position to know about. This is shameful behavior, not surprising after my awful experience with their front staff.



In summary, the pain before, the horrendous pain after, the rude staff and the ridiculous amount for collection on my credit report, this is more than enough to stay clear from these amateurs.
