I was actually very disappointed to read these reviews. Some review websites confirm that those reviewing a company are actual customers, and I believe that would be beneficial here as well since I think it is doubtful that many of these reviews came from actual customers. I have written reviews on other websites, but figured I would write one here as well just to be sure that I was letting others know my experience. From not showing up at our "guaranteed" time to damaging a number of our items to lying on our insurance claim forms to avoid paying us hundreds (only hundreds!) of dollars for the thousands of dollars of damage they did, this company is not trustworthy and made it very clear that they care nothing about their customers or their experience.

I will note that our load-in team in Austin was excellent, but I imagine all of the damage happened when they reloaded everything at their warehouse where we couldn't see it. Kevin, their customer service manager, is horrible to deal with and should not be in his position. He is little to no help and will become angry with you if you challenge him. On our insurance claim, they have flat out lied by claiming existing damage (for which they have no evidence or reports stating) or that we did not claim lost items upon delivery (seriously, did you want a certified letter or did my 5 phone calls looking for the legs of my table you lost and the 5 boxes not suffice?).

Please, be aware of these things and consider them when moving. If the pricing is close, please use another company. If it's not close, get the full insurance (not just the $0.60/lb, which was my biggest mistake) and take pictures of everything you have before and after. This is not a reputable company nor have they been in business as long as some of these reviews insinuate.

Update 2: Please note that the $0.60/lb insurance coverage is not actually insurance coverage. If there is damage, which there likely will be, a third party comes in between you and Global to help determine how much will be paid out. Global lied in the first response as noted above. After we refused to settle and sent more evidence showing they lost and damaged items, they increased what they were "willing to pay us" (again, not insurance) by $100 and added a sentence saying if we accepted we had to take down our bad reviews. So, apparently these reviews are being read! That's the best news I've heard so I can keep others from falling prey.

I liked Global movers because they offer a very good service. It was the first time I was using a moving company (and yes, I was scared, a lot) but now that I have used Global movers; I liked them a lot. They have a very good way of doing things and they truly know what and how to do it. I just had to tell them what I want, and they did it exactly the way I wanted.

I have not had a chance to say thanks to you guys for moving us. You were so great; please pass it on to your staffs. We have moved many times before and your service was miles better than any other company! Crew and sales rep went above and beyond to help us. Efficient, hardworking and friendly. No damages and nothing was found missing. We will certainly recommend you if anyone we know needs a moving company.

I used global movers for my move. They were efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I spoke with their sales rep and he is a very nice person. Gave me a great deal and explained to me every single detail. When the movers arrived, they packed everything for me including boxes and did a great job. I received an email from their customer care department BEFORE the move letting me know all their contact information if something goes wrong. I didn't need it. I had a good experience with them and shall definitely recommend to others looking for a good mover.

Global movers is an awesome moving company. I went through lots of reviews and found great comments about Global movers. When I talked to their sales rep, I found out about all the necessary details I needed to know. On the moving day, their foreman with his helpers arrived on time and they were enthusiastic, energetic and courteous. The guys were very careful with my valuables and they were amazing. Nothing got damaged. I am really satisfied because I did not have to pay much at all; actually the price was rather low. Thank you so much Global movers for tolerating me. You are the BEST!

I had a great experience with global movers. They were very thorough with following up on the appointment and the 5 man crew was excellent. We were done and packed by 2pm on the moving day. Nothing was broken and they also put to together the beds for us. They did a neat and clean job. I faced no difficulties communicating with them. They did everything I asked and even more. They are an effective moving company. I highly recommend them.

I am very happy that I have found global movers. Like others said, they are effective, efficient and polite. They came the next day after I spoke with their manager. They gave me a good quote which was reasonable and explained the details. So I hired them on the spot. The next week when they arrived, the 4 man crew kicked ass. They packed everything so quickly but also very carefully. Gave me tips on what to do and how to do it. They are super friendly. I was also happy to see that nothing was damaged. It was a good experience because I had very bad experience in the past. Looking forward to use global movers again.

We worked with global movers last month and had a really great experience with them. I had a short period of time so I wasn’t getting a good company to move me. A friend of mine recommended global movers and thank god I listened to her. They came out to my house the next day and explained how the process will go. Four guys came early in the morning and started packing all my things. They brought all the necessary equipment and which was a big help for me. They loaded everything so smoothly. They place pillows in between mirror so that the big mirror won’t get damaged. They did it all nicely. On the other side, they unloaded everything and placed all the furniture in the rooms I wanted it to be. I thought they would have trouble carrying the furniture but damn they are like superheroes. I’m really happy with their service and hopefully will use them again when I need to move. So thanks again guys for making my move a pleasant one.

I was impressed with Global Movers crew! They did a great job relocating me from MO TO FL ! packed all my stuff ! and all received promptly ! I would for sure use them again if I need a mover !

I had a wonderful experience with Global movers. From the initial quote to confirming the move details they stayed in contact and kept me up to date on everything. The movers were professional and very efficient. My belongings were delivered within 4 days and again they always kept in touch to let me know what was happening. I am very happy. I will recommend Global movers to all who are need of a good and caring mover.

In so many years of relocating all over America, I am yet to find a better moving company than Global movers. This company just blew my mind with their helpful customer service, experienced crew and reasonable prices. It’s a combination that I thought stopped existing. But somehow they managed to provide amazing services at such low costs. None of my valuables suffered any damage while they helped me move and they maintained their timings throughout.

I chose to hire Global movers to handle the move after talking to them on the phone. Their quote was very low. The movers arrived on time and were properly equipped. I couldn’t believe how easily they carried my furniture. It was a 3rd floor walkup and the stairs didn’t seem to bother them at all. Everything went smoothly and they were done in just an hour and half. They gave me a 5-day window for the delivery and they delivered on the 4th day. Nothing was broken or damaged. The movers were just so meticulous, I must say!

This business is a scam. Reviews on this site must be fabricated. Kevin, the alleged GM admitted to committing a criminal offense when I spoke to him. He explained that our property, antiques and furniture were purposefully destroyed by his company, Global Movers, because we complained about an horrific scam during the load. Global Movers is being sued and we will report this criminal offense to the local authorities. This illicit scam should be shut down. Avoid this nightmare unless you want to be extorted, scammed, and your property destroyed in purpose by the owner. See pics for a taste if the crime.

It was very important for me that the guys from global movers take good care of my belongings. I have a lot of attachment to the things I own and I wasn’t going to let some incapable company damage them while moving them. This company handled the move quite well. The movers arrived on time with all the right tools. They finished packing and loading everything with great efficiency. I was astonished seeing their speed. I wasn’t going to be happy till they delivered everything in great condition. They did just that. Not even a plate was broken during this move. They maintained the timing as well.

I didn’t think global movers could improve my moving experience. But they turned out to be great. Their quote was fair and the customer service was friendly. But the best part was the movers. They were so efficient and always ready to help in any way they can. All my belongings were immaculately packed, cautiously loaded and timely delivered. I didn’t even have to lift a finger. This company really pushes for perfection and it shows in their work.

I always thought relocation is nothing but troublesome. But global movers made our move a very enjoyable one. The movers arrived very much on time. They were so friendly and helpful. We weren't fully packed when they came. They helped us pack everything and loaded all our boxes to the van. They delivered 2 days later with all our things intact. I was surprised that they stuck to their quote even after providing the best moving services.

Efficiency is something that comes with experience. The movers from Global movers have been doing this job for a long time to have gained enough experience. My move was so smooth and easy only because of them. They were so professional and skilled. Everything went like clockwork and they were done packing and loading all my belongings very quickly. I received the delivery right on schedule and all my belongings were in very good condition. They were really inexpensive as well.

This move had nightmare written all over. But the boys from Global movers made it so easy. I hired them to move my belongings two weeks back. The boys were just godsend. They arrived 10 minutes early on day 01 to pack up our 3000 sqft house. They did a great job packing everything. On the next day, they came on time again and loaded everything smoothly to the vans. Frankly, we didn’t have to do a thing. It was so good to see how thoughtful the movers were. Had they taken on the job on a single appointment, they would have never finished. They divided up the work load and worked efficiently. They delivered on time and everything traveled well. I am so grateful for their efforts.
