If you want to spend your hard earned money on nothing and still not have your car fixed, then you should definetly come here. Three times I have just given the owner money for nothing. I found out about this place because it is right down the street from my home , but the professionalism , the workmanship and the prices are herendous. If its an oil change you want , then fine this is your place but serious repairs forget about it. My first serious repair was when I needed a new engine ,the owner Matt had some tow truck company he deals with to tow my vehicle to his shop , I waited a few days for a quote and diagnostic and he told me my engine needed to be replaced and it was going to cost $2500.00. I refused service and I had to pay $235.00 to get my car back , and when i got my car back nothing was put back together. (went somewhere else 1300.00)maybe if i was a guy it would have been better service but anyhow . The second time , same car, after having someone else put my alternator on , I heard a noise driving down the street so I drove my car there , it turned out that my alternator belt needed replacing also , then Matt the owner said my belt tensioner needed replacing too , the price was $235.00 again . Ok . whatever it took to fix my car, after the repair was finished i still heard the noise, turns out my new alternator was bad.



ok but today took the cake, about two days ago , this time with my boyfriend , we had my vehicle towed there because the car was having an electrical problem causing it not to start , we had the fuel pump changed and the crank shaft sensor and ignition module changed already. We bring it in to to Matt the owner , he's standing outside with his first customer giving an emissions test , patiently we're waiting for service, when another customer walks up and jumps us in line...Whoo hoo did my boyfriend go bullistic, because the owner had started to work on the third customer's car. The owner started telling my boyfriend he couldn't diagnose it today,which we agreed, but at least acknowledge us and check our vehicle in before you skip us was our point. Matt told us that he would call us the next day, he didn't i had to call ,he told me don't call back he would call me, so my boyfriend went up there, he told him it was a computer problem , because he checked the fuel pump. WHAT!!! we told him already we had checked that before , but anyway he told my boyfriend he would call with an estimate the next day , which is today. The estimate $585.00 , what the %$^&!!! , needless to say me any my boyfriend go in to pick it up and refuse service , told him to put it back together , he charges me $100.00. For what???What did he do??? His rudeness and arrogance as if he doesn't appreciate your business is beyond measure. I just wanted to tell all the customers as they were driving up not to use him. And then on top of that when I got my car back the battery was dead .



Word of mouth is a powerful tool and you can rest assure Mr. Matt that you may get alot of business but you will lose alot more and not before someone kicks your a$$ for being a bad businessman!!!!!!!!

When I first moved to Houston ...

When I first moved to Houston I searched aimlessly for a good mechanic. I was pretty disappointed, then finally someone recommended First Choice Car Car and I never looked back. These guys are experts and they won't suggest unnessary fixes just to make a quick buck. I can see that they truly love what they do - they know exactly what they're doing, and want to earn your business. Here, you'll get the best work for the best price. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else!

This guy is a crook and will find a way to just keep tacking on the charges. I went to have a belt replaced; the belt was fine but had slipped off; great no need for the belt just a quick adjustment and a $40 charge... By the end of the day they had found ways to get the coast up to $665. It gets worse, when I went to pay the next day even after 2 quotes at $665 now they want over $1000. Once they got you in the spot where you just don’t have any more $ they say “oh for you my friend we won’t charge for labor…” I was told all day “we won’t charge for labor.” They did and they will.

The owner was so rude and refused to even consider some kind of negotiation. I asked to speak with the employee that gave me the quote; he refused to do that as well. After that he said they would keep my car till I found a way to pay, when I tried to ask about the invoice a work record log he said I was harassing him and the customers and he kicked me out of his shop. I had to call the police to get him to calm down to the point to even pay him. I had to call the police to pay my bill!

Very shady people and they will find a way to squeeze everything out of you they can. Unless it’s an oil change steer clear of this nightmare! Any work that needs to be done take your vehicle elsewhere or they will rake you over the coals.

These people are very respectable, fun and pleasant to deal with. They somehow take the stress away by a friendly attitude and you instantly trust them that they will not overprice or manipulate. So many times they would tell me: you know, you think this is wrong, but in reality nothing's wrong, you don't need us - while on the other hand, they could say "Oh sure you need tons of work". They just don't project this greedy attitude.

Neighborhood car care

The owner takes the time to take care of you. I take my parent's car to them quite a bit and he is always talking to my Mother and taking care of her. He helps her out of the car and makes sure she is comfortable. When my husband takes our car, he is always greeted as a neighbor. Very friendly employees and I never feel intimidated as a woman when I go there. They will always give the best price that is available and not try to make you pay more than you need, in other words, we trust them which is a valuable asset to this company. They are truly a neighborhood car care business.

Can count on them

Matt was very honest which is a difficult trait to find in Houston for Mechanics. He showed me the part he chaged and he checked that I was happy with it. A few days later my engine light came back on, I called him took the car in and he fixed it. He change a part, and charged me only for the part not for labot to install it. I was very happy with this service. If you know somewhere else with this service please sharethat place.
