I am the owner of a vintage furniture restoration company. For years I have looked for someone to add brass plating to my vintage hardware, but all companies refused because my orders were too small. I was so excited when I found Colonial Brass. Now all of my hardware comes back shiny and bright with a brand new finish which allows me to keep my vintage pieces in tact. Love their service and was thrilled when I saw my vintage campaign hardware looking good as new!

They are the best at what they do. Have been a customer for 15 years. They do great work. Reasonable price. Service with a smoke. They also stand behind their work. You won't be disappointed. ��������

Not very pleased with the quality of work. Brought these pulls in for polishing and yet they still have spots that look tarnished.
The explanation I was given was that these are nickel plated and what I'm seeing is the raw steel underneath. However, these don't appear to be plated. And they never mentioned that they were when I dropped them off.
Seems to me an excuse for shoddy work. Alternative Facts!

Colonial Brass refurbished a silver gravy dish and a large shell plate for us. They did an awesome job for a very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend them. We have brought them two silver candelabras to restore and am sure we will be very happy with the out come. This is a great business! We will use them many more times in the future!

Colonial Brass polished and lacquered two unique 24 year old brass bathroom faucets for us. The work involved refinishing a total of 16 individual appearance parts. It was completed on a very timely basis and the faucets were returned to us looking like new. It was evident they are a well organized and very capable business.

Colonial Brass does awesome work! I had a mail box brass cover that looked terrible. I went to Berings to buy a new one, and they told me to take it to Colonial Brass. They made it look like new for a modest price. They saved me a lot .I would recommend them highly for any brass or silver restoration.

I had my grandmother's bedroom furniture refinished and needed the bail drawer pulls cleaned and repolished. I tried to do it at home and it was NOT turning out to be an easy nor good option. Bering's gave me a business card for Colonial Brass so I gave them a try. The first impression when you walk in is the shop is more of a working area than a posh, successful business. Don't let that turn you off. It just means they have a lot of business in progress!

Edward helped me by giving me options, examples based on work in the shop! and quotes for each option. He was quite knowlegeable and knew the 'look' of the restored bedroom furniture. He suggested the finish he thought would look the best and original. I went with the option even though it was more expensive because he had gained my confidence AND it was the original finish.

I am so pleased with the work! The drawer pulls look brand new! When my mother saw the bedroom furniture she became sentimental saying, 'The bedroom looks just as I remember it as a child." That, to me, is all the recommendation Colonial Brass needs.

Now, I find myself imagaining what they could create above my front door...outside. Instead of brass, I want to try the oil rubbed bronze on the next project.

I've been a loyal customer of Colonial Brass for 20+ years. I take all of my solid brass pieces to them and they never fail to restore the brass to beautiful condition: brass knobs, cabinet hardware, doorknobs and candelabra. They restored my mother's candlesticks from the 1960s, wired them and converted them into lamps for my home. Now I have a wonderful memento of my mother and her impeccable style.
