I'll chose this place over fastfood any day

I'm new to the area and this place is really close by. We had ordered delivery several times now and the whole family enjoys it. There's not much difference in portion size between lunch and dinner options. The plates we order come with choice of rice, spring rolls, and soup. It's a lot of food for lunch and even dinner you'll have leftovers. Delivery is fast, a little pricey, but I love the food here. My favorite is the salted crispy chicken which comes served with fresh jalapeos. It's crunchy, spicy, and super tasty. We totally enjoy this little hole in the wall.

We love the food at Chef Ding and have never seen any sign of being unclean. In fact, a while back there was a discussion of the restaurant with a neighboring business person and they had some news that made us really feel good about it. They said that the Houston Board of Health (I don't remember the exact name) had this Fall inspected the restaurant unexpectedly and that they found the kitchen perfectly clean. This had come about as someone had reported that Chef Ding was raising his own ducks in back of the business. The inspectors noted the cleanliness at that time. Perhaps someone that knows how to do it could check with the people that do the inspections for Houston.

Pretty good food but beware of the roaches. I have eaten there on several occasions Normally with no complaint. I had to leave the restaurant alone because once I found a roach buried in my steamed rice. When I informed the hostess, she was not very caring. Prior to that incident, I was pleased with the restaurant. I debated over making this review but I felt others should know.
