I ordered a Sure Call signal booster system from AFC Houston, received it two days later, and realized from the start that I don't even have enough signal at my home for the Sure Call system to amplify. I returned the entire system immediately following the weekend and UPS showed it was signed for two days later. With a 60 day money back guarantee I figured a refund would be forthcoming, but after a month passed I was still waiting for my $399.99. I contacted the company owner who assured me he would take care of the refund immediately, but said that since it was now late Friday afternoon to not expect a refund until probably Monday or Tuesday overnight. That timeframe came and went so I again called the company and left another message. Then I filed a complaint with the BBB and the Texas Attorney General's office. I next dialed up Sure Call and spoke with Dustin, who apparently is something of an account representative. Dustin called the owner of AFC and said I would be receiving my refund. Late that day I got a call from the AFC owner who then emailed me a PayPal statement showing the refund was indeed being processed. The statement indicated that refund would occur between that current date and five days later. That told me that the AFC owner did not begin the refund process on the prior Friday as he said, but on the following Wednesday, the day I contacted Sure Call. Two days later I finally received a full refund. I'm not going to suggest that the owner was lying to me, but he had told me that the mounting bracket was missing, which is absolutely untrue. The obvious date discrepancy was also very telling. You will have to decide that. Nonetheless, perhaps he figured I would go away without any refund. There are other dealers in the Houston area that sell Sure Call systems. I would highly suggest not doing business in any manner with AFC Houston.
