This company is used for those utilizing WashingtonRides, among other things. WashingtonRides is a great service to our community. And First Transit should be a GREAT service. There are several vendors for WashingtonRides, and this is just one of them. Their system is crazy.... they have these drivers overbooked and don't allow for any time for us passengers to be late, or whatever. Now, they DO take into consideration that if I have a dr. appt or hospital test or something like that, I get there in a more timely manner. They were better when before they were taken over by First Transit, who I can see is a LARGE company based in Cincinnati and should have a better system for doing things. How can they stay in business??



The drivers are, for the most part, very good and courteous, and since they have to help us get from door to door, I have to give them a pat on the back. They go out of their way to be helpful and hold an umbrella over our heads. I have even heard of them taking people to Red Lobster, for gracious sakes! But if that is OK with the county, it is OK with me. It is a shame these poor drivers have to work 12 hour days.... it should be against the law.



I like talking to the drivers and that is how I gathered some of this information; a regular Angela Lansbury, I am. But I like to know about the companies that are helping me live independently.
