 I am a therapist, clinical social worker by training , specializing in helping families successfully compete the divorce process. I have over 20 years experience helping  individuals, couples. children and families, providing guidance and support through all phases of the divorce process. From counseling about deciding whether to divorce, to helping to mediate a child-focused agreement that both parents are happy with, to helping improve communication through the divorce and after the divorce. As a mental health professional trained in the best interest of children, I successfully work with divorcing couples teaching them to transition from an emotion-driven relationship to a respectful co-parenting relationship so that their children get the very best from what each parent has to offer them.  If they have major disagreements, I provide a safe neutral supportive environment to facilitate negotiation and compromise in their children’s best interest. I help parents to take care of themselves so that they are better able to love their children more than they hate their ex. The result is that families emerge from the process empowered to begin the next stage of their lives. I offer a free telephone consultation and my fees may befh  reimbursable by most insurance companies
