The purpose of the Hopewell United Methodist Church is to know Jesus Christ, and through His love, to make Him known, sharing his miraculous, life-changing love and mercy with our community and the world. We are a United Methodist congregation, located in the heart of Hopewell Borough, in Mercer County, New Jersey. While we come from different places, geographically, spiritually, even politically, we share a common goal to know the Lord better and to follow Him in our daily life. Our church is part of the Greater New Jersey United Methodist Conference. The official newspaper of the conference, The United Methodist Relay, is published monthly except January and August. Hopewell United Methodist publishes a quarterly newsletter. Here's the latest issue. Nov-Dec 2010 Newsletter. Also, see our Devotions page. Our Worship Services Worship begins at 10 a.m., including Praise Time, ample opportunity to share thanksgivings and prayer requests with Our Lord and the congregation, special music, Scripture reading, and a Biblical sermon from Pastor Ken Robinson. Child care is available during worship for children under age 5. Meet our pastor and other congregational leaders here at Hopewell United Methodist Church. About Methodism Hopewell United Methodist Church is part of the United Methodist Church, a Protestant denomination formed in the 1730s by John and Charles Wesley. The UMC is the second-largest Protestant denomination in the U.S., with approximately 9 million members, and has deep roots in New Jersey.
