Leona H. Chan is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of solid business background. She has extensive knowledge and experience in public accounting and Fortune 500 corporations.

 Leona has worked in large regional CPA firms, where she provided auditing, accounting and tax services for various types of business. She has experience in preparing tax returns from individuals, partnerships, LLCs, S Corps, C Corps to Estates. Her clients include real estate investors, contractors, healthcare professionals, lawyers, technology companies, hotels, nursing homes, auto shops, restaurants, salons, daycare centers, artists, authors, website developers, wholesalers, retail distributors and more.

Leona received extensive training while she worked in IBM. She was responsible in corporate accounting consolidation, gross profit analysis, revenue recognition, cost accounting, inventory management and audits; she evaluated the internal controls for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 requirements. She also served as a trusted financial advisor of the "supercomputer" products, for which she prepared business cases, provided sensitive analysis, and monitored the return investment, cash flow, and the financial health of the products.

Leona has been living in the Hudson Valley for over 21 years. She is very involved in both professional and community service organizations. She is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and member of New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA), where she is currently active inPersonal Financial Planning Committee and Bankers and Lawyers Committee. She is member of Business Networking International (BNI) (2010- present), a member Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce ( DCRCOC) (2010-2012), Treasurer and Board of Director of Mid-Hudson Chinese Language Center (2006-present), Treasurer and Board of Director of Northern Westchester Chinese School (2000 – 2002), Member of Mid-Hudson Chinese Christian Church (1996 – present). 

She is fluent in reading, writing and speaking in Chinese.
