If I could give a 0 star I would. Ordered food on 1/19 was told it would be $15.85 and would be ready in 15 minutes. Sent someone to get it and was charged $30.00, double the price. The manager proceeded to lie and tell me he didn't tell us the price, even though we had witnesses. DO NOT GO HERE.

I come here every year for my birthday and just love it. I always get sushi, and something different for the entree. Their shrimp and chicken are fabulous and the sushi taste so fresh. I love the guys that do the cooking.... they hold a great conversation.

I love Stix...the atmosphere is awesome, the staff is great and the food is magnificant! I do prefer the japanese versus the chinese side!

Iv'e been visiting Stix for the past 5 years and it has never disappointed. The food & service is great, and they even helped me propose to my wife by stuffing a "will you marry me" fortune inside one of the fortune cookies. If you can do without the Hibachi circus, there is rarely a wait in the non-Hibachi section and you can order all of the same dishes plus more.

Tons of fun! Very friendly staff and awesome food! I will definitely go back!

I've been in Birmingham, AL for a year and this is the first Japanese Sushi restaurant that I've been to. Sushi is my favorite food so while my husband and son ordered teriyaki chicken and rice, I chose from the sushi menu. Their meal looked pretty good with large chunks of chicken and a good portion of white rice and vegetables but the miso soup didn't taste authentic. I was very disappointed when my sushi arrived. I ordered the rolls and the sizes were very small. The cucumber and avocado weren't fresh and looked old. The fish smelled fishy. Sushi eaters know that fresh fish should not smell. Even more disappointing was the FAKE crab meat that they used for the California Rolls. For the prices they charge, sushi is not worth ordering. The only thing they have going for them is the atmosphere and the service.

My family and I love to eat there, they treat you like you are someone. One of the best tasting restuarnt in WORLD !!!!!!!!!!

I was able to enjoy my meal while sitting at the bar. The food quality was excellent! The only thing that I would change is the portion size of some of the dishes. Therefore the value wasn't the best I have had at other Sushi restaurants.
