I recently brougnt my new 2014 Toyota Tacoma Truck to Dwight at Protint Hawaii for window tinting after calling the other local tint shops for quotes. He was the most economical and courteous on the phone.



I do not know much about window tinting so Dwight took the time to explain to me the difference between Ceramic Tint vs Platinum Metallic Tint. He also explained, how much light, and UV rays are blocked out and the percent of heat reduction, I could expect between both.



I dropped off my truck in the early morning before work and as promised, my truck was ready for pick up during my lunch hour. I chose the Ceramic Tint and it looks awesome!! And without saying, I am so much cooler!!!



Also, while at the shop, I found out that Protint Hawaii was featured in the July 2014 Honolulu Magazine for best auto tint services.

I just purchased a new car and wanted to change the tint that came with it. I don't have knowledge about tints other than that I wanted it dark. Dwight informed me of the different types of tints, their benefits and what is legal for the state of Hawaii. His knowledge made me feel like I wasn't being taken advantage and was able to guide me with the best option. He was also so easy to talk to, it was like talking to an old friend.



When I brought my car in on the schedule appointment day I was able to drop it off in the morning and to my delight was ready by noon. I picked it up and was amazed at the how the tint looked on my car. It seemed to make the car stand out in my opinion. Upon a closer expection it was still difficult to see into my car from the outside, which is what I wanted. I got into my car afterwards and noticed the temperture was cooler than before and it was a hot sunny day. I am extremely pleased with the tint job. The whole experience was just great.
