It was really short notice, and I had never used a moving service before. I'd heard all kinds of not-nice stories, of course, so I decided to play it by ear. I was kind of edgy because the other movers I had called gave me the impression that they were giving me the run-around. When Jose took my call, he immediately put me at ease. He said they were fully booked for the weekend, but that there was a chance they could handle my request if I didn't mind an evening move. And although it was late, the crew came that same night to check out my needs. Right on first impression, they struck me as being honest and expert at their job. We agreed on a moving date - and time - as well as the charges that Jose had filled me in on previously.
Moving day came, and guys were there right on time with his truck a. They even provided "wardrobe boxes" with hanger poles, and would have done all the packing for us if we had wanted to. They moved the refrigerator, 52-inch plasma tv, sofa set, and all our sundry furniture from our 2nd floor unit to the new (also 2nd floor) unit. Their moves were "by-the-number", they knew exactly what they were doing. NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH on the fridge, plasma tv, and sofa set. No scratches on the apartment walls, either. They moved EVERYTHING in the time they estimated. Well, they went a little over, but only because they did a little more than what we had agreed on. In spite of that, Jose very honestly calculated the overage down to the minute! I was happy to pay him more than he asked for. I mean, you could see that he and his guys were panting because they had been rushing to meet their self-imposed deadline!

i moved from Chicago, Il to Auston, TX. I hate moving cause i do not like
change places. I hesitated calling moving companies since so many of them
quote one rate and you end up paying much more.From the moment I began
speaking with Arthur , my stress seem to have disappeared. He gave me all
the step by step details and sent me a quote while on the phone with him.
Although at the time of my call, I wasn't sure where exactly we were moving
to or the exact date, he told me that they will make our move happen. When
movers came - every piece of furniture was arranged in the room they
belonged and my move was easy and stress free because of this company. What
Arthur had quoted never changed. He even checked up to make sure everything
was going well.

I had to hire movers as my friends could not help me. It was great. The price i was given stayed the same.

MOVING??? BEWARE of SUN CITY movers. This company lures you in with a low estimate and savy sales rep, then hits you with a huge bill upon delivery of your stuff. I was charged multiple undisclosed fees for almost every piece of furniture that was loaded to the truck. The foreman Mike came in with his crew swooped in and started shrink wrapping our sofa's, beds ("because it may rain" he said)at the time of pick up. Adding 20 -40 dollars for this and that -- mike insisted he was just a worker, it is not his fault. He is just doing what he was told. We ended up moving several pieces of ourselves because of all the additional fees. They showed up a day early and started grabbing stuff that was not even ready to go. Their plan was to use most of the estimated time for the move when they came and then charge for extra hours when they delivered my goods. My sales rep called me while on my way to meet the movers in the new city to tell me my bill had doubled. He expressed disbelief after I explained how it went the night before. He had "no idea" that the crew came early the night before. He told me don't worry he would fix it - give us a discount and call me back. He never did. He left and went home. So MIKE presented me with the bill upon delivery. Which I disputed and tried to call his manager and my sales rep. But the "dispatcher" indicated everyone left for the weekend and that I should go get cash or money order or they would put my belongings in storage and would not know when they would deliver them. They held the stuff hostage on the truck and extorted cash/money order for double the original estimate. The contract indicated you could use a credit card to pay but they would not accept a credit card even though the bill was way more than I was originally told it would be. I ended up driving around the strange new city and pulling some strings to try to come up with the additional cash to pay to get my belongings delivered. HORRIBLE business!!! STAY AWAY

SunCityMovers are doing great. This company is real AAA. Another companies gave me a quote with less price, but i know from my previous experience that cheap doesnt mean good.

I chose SunCityMovers at the very last moment. Another moving company cancelled my move and i had to find another one. 2 guys came on the truck and moved my studio without any damages and stress. Thank you.

FIRST, check with the Better Business Bureau. The quote they gave us was meaningless, they said they took credit cards, but insisted on cash at delivery, ++ $1,100. They didn't understand English. Had to call out law enforcement, wrong tag on rented truck,no proper drivers licence. "Fly by nights" Don't go there!

DO NOT USE THESE ASS***** Absolutely TERRIBLE... promised me early morning service...took 20 phone attempts to reach on phone...at 11am called me back because i called sales and did not leave a msg and then wanted to schedule me for tomorrow..... AWEFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

To be cool.
It was a chance for me to show everyone that I am worth it. I contacted Sun City Movers Florida and talked each point with them. I organized the moving and it was accomplished!

Independent moving.
They told me to show that I was a person to lead my own life, that was my chance to show that I’m old enough. So I called Sun City Movers Florida and made a deal with them. My parents didn’t believe that I could actually organize the moving and organize it well. But it was true. We did the moving.

No mistakes.
I hate when you have to organize and reorganize things over and over again. Such things happened with me when I worked with other moving companies. But I don’t like making the same mistakes again and again so this time I hired Sun City Movers Florida and I can say that was a good company.
