These people are unethical! I should have researched more but I have bought used cars in the past with no problem. The front windshield had a crack they promised to fix. No return phone calls or emails. I purchased the car about 2 months ago just took it into Acura. Big safety recall is on it and it needs $1000 worth of repairs including tires which I asked about. They are scammers, unprofessional and sleazy!

I purchased a 2003 Mercedes from the dealership and I live in Louisiana. I was told the vehicle ran great. Well, the car was delivered and had to be jumped to even get it off the delivery truck. The car would not remain running so I had it towed to Mercedes of New Orleans. Mercedes informed me that the fuel pump, sender units and rear sam control unit were bad. I was also informed that the problems were mainly due to water damage and parts of the engine had standing water in it. The salesman also tried to overcharge me for the shipping and even had me send the shipping fee to him personally. I should have realized at that moment, but I don't buy cars every day. So, I had put my trust in what I was being told by the salesman. I was told that I would be sent the difference of the shipping, but have not received it yet. I spoke with; I believe his name was Chase, when I called about the problems. He told me that all mechanics are liars and cannot be trusted and that Mercedes just wanted me to pay for repairs to make money. The best part is Mercedes advised me to not fix the car because it was not worth it. In the end I was told that it was my problem and if I wanted to sue them, and then go for it. I personally would be very very careful dealing with Florida Fine Cars, because there is nothing fine about the car or the dealings I have had with them. Although to be fair, I will say that Les was extremely nice. I wish he had been in the position to help me but he could not.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

DON'T GET SCREWED LIKE I DID!!!

DEAL SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Classic Bait and Switch

Classic bait and switch. I drove across the state to buy an Infiniti and had a deal ready to sign when the phone rang and the finance manager tells me the car was "just sold". I had spent 5 hours sitting there to be told it was just sold. However, they said, we do have another car with lower miles and they would give it to me at the same price. This car was sandwiched between two other cars and then they pulled it up along side of the building. I test drove it and it seemed fine. There were scratchs and a torn seat as well. EVERY other dealer I have dealt with will fix these issues, and issue and an IOU. Florida Fine Cars would not. They promised they would fix it, but wouldn't put it in writing.

Needless to say I bought the car and now three years later I went to a Infiniti dealer for a trade in and they tell me the car has had a major accident and has unibody damage. They wouldn't buy it at any price. Bascially the car it totaled. I got conned and duped. Florida Fine Cars knew exactly what they were doing. It was the bait and switch all the way. I emplore you, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Also Run don't walk away!

Purchased a Jaguar X type for my son. The car had not been cleaned when it was picked up. I drove the car for one week, approx. 400 miles and the transmission gave out. The car was towed to a repair shop they recommended. After 3 weeks and $2,000.00 later, the car was picked up and remained operable for one day. It was towed back to the repair shop. Contacted the dealer, was given the run around, they initially agreed to swap the car but when pressed for details as to what that would entail, they responded that I was being difficult to work with. The repair shop is now telling me that there is a computer issue and the car needs a steering rack as well.

The dealership upon first glance appears reputable, but in dealing with them I found that they have absolutly no ethics or professionalism. I plan on seeing if I can do something about this as there are other postings on the web from people who have had similar experiences. Once the car is repaired I plan on selling it or sending it to the auction. Either way I will experience a considerable loss of money.

As far as I am concerned their entire operation is a scam and they should not be in business. My recommendation; RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!
