Called & spoke to a Mark Woodruff who seemed very interested in working with us on landscaping our new home. He sent out Stewart Barnwell to our home. He said he would get back to me but after a month no word from him. I e-mailed & told him we wanted to make a decision on proposals by the end of June. He said he would get back to me on Friday, June 30th.....nothing! He is not a man of his word. He just wasted our time. Based on that I would not recommend Carolyn's

Long but worth the read if serious about your landscape!!
First connection was with owner Mark Orlando, think because we had a full project, then he missed metting and pushed us off to Joe which it took a couple more missed meetings before first connecting with "Carolny's rep" which at the time seemed to be pissed at me, maybe because it took a couple months to get to us or that his boss "Mark Orlander" pushed him off on us. Personally I thought Joe was upset with Mark and not me. Which made our relationship strange from the start. I've dealt with a lot of contractors but never a landscaper like this, troubled and unexperienced. It was like dealing with my teenagers which is absolutely ridiculous especially considering we told them we were ready to spend over $50,000 just on landscapeing, not including hardscapes. Long story sort - they sent a very expensive proposal months later for which we got a locally family owned business which has been here for years to do everything we needed and more for cheaper. Can't be happier, the experience was exceptional, the people were better and the finished product was better & cheaet. I should know because my neighbor used Corolyns and we both agreed he got the short end of the stick stick. I'm so happy we did not go with Carolyn's- my impression is they are a small business that make their money from high margins/profits and low quality irrigation, lighting products & most importantly "B" grade plant materials at best - all they care about is $$$$$$/profits. My neighbor who used them agrees the mailer we received from Carolyns - promising the world - we should have not believed one of us got scammed I got lucky you take the review for what it's worth . None of us can believe we believed their mails. Completely bolloaks - sorry for the language but it's true!
One thing I learned is about size & quality of plants Carolyn's 3 gallon plants looked like my landscapers 1 gallon plants and Carolyn's 7 gallon plants look like my landscapers 3 gallon plants which means Carolyn's ripped of my neighbor and my family owner landscaper saved me loads of money - since we are friend we compared bills and we agreed Carolyn's cost him about three times more than me + my plants are thriving and his are struggling - enough said
