Emery - The Gold standard in plumbing!

Our story, though a little late, in January I was working in the garden when the water meter reader came driving up, lights flashing and horn blasting, I asked “Is there a problem and he answered, you have a leak and I said, how big? He said BIG, since you last meter reading 250,000 gallons of water.” He recommended shutting the meter off at the street and only turn it on when we needed it. The crazy part was all that water and no sign of a leak?

We started our search for a plumber, called 3 plumbers, all 3 came out and all said we need a new water main as the current one was a product called driscoll (my condolences if you have this) and we / they couldn’t find the leaks.

This is where Emery (John & Christine begin to shine). I asked all 3 for a quote to replace a 500-foot water main, though a concrete and asphalt driveway. Plumber 1, never came back or provided a quote, plumber 2 provided a quote, half page with basically a number on it. And then there was Emery, they provided a 3-page quote, detailing progress payments, equipment needed and potential equipment needed. Detail of labor costs as well as they would get the permits and contact Dig Hawaii. Everything was laid out, essentially, I was hiring a general contractor and that’s what I wanted. John and team are the muscle and Christine take’s care of the logistics as well as the books. John has an old school work ethic, some morning’s he was at my home at 6:30am and didn’t leave until 6 at night. They knew we didn’t have water and they made every effort to get us back on line as quick as possible. On a personal note, John is one of those people that I would like to call friend as we were cut from the same cloth, if you’re going to do a job, do it right. Every plumber I’ve ever used would have a hard time competing with Emery’s / John’s quality and dedication to getting the job done right. It’s good to know that there’s a plumber out there like John.

We have hired Emery Plumbing for years now for many jobs big and complicated to small. And their attitude is always, '' we can do it", and it is always done correctly and in a timely manner. Very respectful and professional, i would recommend them to everyone and wouldn't hire anyone else.

I wouldn't trust my pipes to just anyone- Emery Plumbing is simply the best. When our water heater kicked the bucket we were given several options outlining the pro's and con's of each style. We chose the tankless Renault system- and we had on demand hot water in a day. No waiting, no "oh we can fit you in next month", and he didn't charge us an arm and a leg. Totally reasonable price for the exceptional service Emery Plumbing provides. He even called to check in on how we liked the system- 30 minute hot shower while someone else was doing the dishes, what's not to love?! We've used Emery Plumbing to update our washer/dryer lines, improve dryer venting, propane pipe re-routing, sink and vanity install+ hook up, water line for refrigerator, fixing a leaky sink, and the list will continue to grow as we renovate our home. I highly highly recommend Emery Plumbing.

Emery Plumbing kept me informed at each step of my cesspool-to-sewer-lateral job, did good and fast work on the project, and, in spite of some unforeseen adverse conditions, came in under the contract amount.
