I recently went to Sal's Cleaning & Alterations in Hillsborough because another place in the Kmart Plaza ruined a beautiful skirt that I had taken to have a tear repaired. Sal's already had an excellent reputation and that is why I thought of it to fix the other guy's mistake. The lady in the shop at Sal's was so pleasant and knowledgeable she quickly was able to correct the other guy's hack job! This place has my business for good now and I highly recommend anyone who has a garment they love that they want expertly tailored to go to Sals and not the place in the Kmart plaza - that guy really ripped me off and butchered my skirt! Thank you Sal's for saving my skirt - you made it look new again!! Sal's has been around town since the early 80's ever since I was a little girl and the town still had dirt roads ....now I know why. Their quality, craftsmanship and pride in a job well done exceeds their reputation. If you're new in town, go here and save yourself the hassle of the run-around.
