Dale Martin made a number of factual errors on our appraisal. He neglected to count a room and its square footage. He did not spend much time at our house, he did not walk the property or look into the garage. Mr. Martin's final appraisal value of our home was dismal--over $50,000 less than it was worth 12 years ago. I understand that house prices may be depressed in Hillsboro, but his evaluation was completely off the mark. We paid $700 for him to ruin our chances of a refinance. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We've had heard about Southern Ohio Appraisers since moving to the area in 1990. The company always had a sterling reputation for integrity, so we were delighted when our bank chose them to do our refi appraisal. Our expectations were surpassed, as we not only got a thorough appraisal, but encouragement on what was good, and suggestions on what could be better.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! No knowledge of appraising!!! very bad job! -Stars!!
