Hometown favorite with flair from the 1960’s

The location is right on the Main Street or Route 230. Highspire’s only living legend of having spawned some 50 years of serving hometown food. The loyalty of the customers shines as you walk into the dining area, I have been told anytime you walk in the door seating is always limited. You have to check out the Pipeliner for breakfast if your mighty hungry, try the small order if your appetite is a bit less. Oh and those scrumptious desserts, made right in the kitchen by staff that take that extra dash of pizzazz to touch your taste buds. If you walk away hungry it is your own fault all of the servings are more then enough for a hungry man or woman.

Parking is around the side on Ann Street and behind the restaurant with ample spaces including employees. Seating in the dining area is facing route 230 so lots of action can be observed during business hours from about 6 am to 7 pm, 7 days a week!

Ask anyone in the restaurant about the history of the place as it seems the previous 2nd owner, a wife and husband were not making much money when the husband went to work for the Alaska Pipeline. After 4 years of working on the pipeline a few recipes and names of the operations have made their way to Highspire’s 230 CAFÉ menu.
