I herniated my L5 disc somehow and was looking at having surgery. I found out about Dr. Shook through a friend at church and decided to make an appointment. Dr. Shook spent time with, showed me the mri and gave me choices for treatment. I started decompression therapy, laser and exercise with adjustments. In two weeks I was doing better and I continued for six weeks total. I went from severe pain to where it only bothers me every now and then. I don;t have nerve pain in my leg anymore, I can work and lift my grand kids. I am finally able to sleep which was the biggest problem for me.
