This particular Zales left me disappointed. The customer service was awful. If I were quality assurance all the sales associates would've been reprimanded. The reason: it's Mother's Day weekend so every associate was busy with exactly one customer, so I can allot some understanding as to why we were not greeted right away. But the rest is inexcusable. None of the associates barely lifted their heads to give a genuine greeting even after standing in the store for 5mins. This left me with the impression that I should have made an appointment. Secondly, when we asked for help in order to browse something in particular while waiting the sales associates ignored the question. upon asking a second time one even feigned ignorance of the merchandise. How rude! At this point, I was starting to boil, there were pamphlets on the counter. So I flipped thru them until I found what I was looking for, but by then I was too angry to show them what items was in their store, so we left. I could sense this had something to do with perhaps a racial/class overtone as well. Most of the present customers were white older women browsing with one black guy who was looking at watches. I can respect that they would want someone's full attention while being helped. Yet I also had time to analyze who was actually in the middle of a purchase versus some who were just killing time browsing. Being as though we waited patiently to be acknowledged and expressed interest in a particular item you would think we would have gotten a little more attention. But I guess that Zales store isn't interested in actually making a sale. Total time wasted waiting with no one smiling 15mins. Happy to say, another store benefited from my annoyance with this one. I think I almost bought out everything due to the sales girls friendly attitude. Moral of this story: you never judge a book by its cover.

The clerks in the Hershey outlet store are very courteous and helpful. The manager is another story. I just purchased Diamond earrings which I have checked on for about 1 1/2 years hoping the price would come down.She was not the one waiting on me it was a gentleman. I asked about the price of the earrings and why the price was so high compared to last Christmas. The manager, Lauren, interruped and said " well if the earrings has been there that long I guess it is time to send them back!" I looked at the clerk in amazment. She practically yelled in my face. it was so embarrassing. I was taken by surprise so I did not respond to her. I looked at the gentleman clerk and said I really do like the earrings and I will take them. Then the manager said " Oh! so you really do want the Earrings!" She walked away smiling. I just stood there stunned. I thought you are supposed to treat a customer with respect. I know because I work in a brokerage firm. This will not keep me from going to your store as long as I don't have to deal with Lauren, the Manager of the Hershey Outlet Store.

I have purchased other items in your store and so has my daughter-in-law.
