Absurd. They tried to tell us that my vehicle would fail inspection because the windshield washing system wasn't working. When challenged, suddenly it was a fuse problem, so they sent an employee out to pick up a fuse. Apparently, none of the people working there has ever worked on a vehicle before because there are spare fuses in the fuse box right next to the one they said was bad! So we waited an extra 40 minutes for someone to get a fuse that was already there as a spare. One top on that fiasco, the guy working the desk repeatedly got belligerent and cussed at my husband. Pathetic excuse of a shop and definitely will tell people to avoid this place. How are they not shut down?

Here's my experience: I feel like I got cheated. I brought my vehicle in to check out a minor issue and ended up agreeing to let them do costly work. I should have never agreed to the guy at the front desk's saying I needed other work done. The thing I originally brought the vehicle in for wasn't even addressed and the problem remained. The guy at the front desk outright lied about it. This fact was not discovered until after I already paid them and left. I ended up paying a ridiculous amount of money for "repairs" that are at best questionable if they were even needed in the first place. I wish I would have taken a closer look at the bills and list of provided services before I left the shop because only then did I realize they charged me prices for parts that were 5 to 6 times higher than what could be purchased from any parts store. Predators and crooks. Never again. By the way, I see other reviewers have had similar experiences consistently going back for long time. Beware.

There should be a investigation. They are crooked , scammers, cheats. not even one star

I would discourage anyone from ever going here. You are absolutely guaranteed to be propositioned and pressured into with unneeded services. They use this guilt trip tactic where they act like they are concerned for your cars care and your safety and its very uncomfortable because its clearly insecure. Every time I get a second opinion after their recommended services. They once said I needed to replace a tire. When I got a second opinion, they fixed the leak for $5 and haven't had an issue since.

The muffler I bought from you lasted just short of 2 years. Good thing they have a lifetime warranty. See you in two years for another free muffler on your penny.

I brought my car in for an oil change before I bought it in you couldn't hear my car sounds like an airplane...beyond frustrated never again

I'm dumb for even making an appointment here to get my truck inspected, but I did anyways. My appointment was at 9am but they didn't get my truck in till 12:30pm. The truck I got inspected was my 2nd vehicle that i rarely drive and it basically just sits in my garage. First they said my gas cap was bad... but it wasn't. So I was stuck buying a $4 has cap for $30!!! They wouldn't let me step out for a few minuets to go buy my own down the street. If I didn't buy their cheap gas cap they were going to fail me and I would still be stuck paying the $60 for the inspection. I changed my wipers right before I went there and they told me I had to buy their wipers for $15 because mine were streaking which was complete BS!! If I didn't buy there wipers they said they would fail me! My first experience and monro muffler in hermitage pennsylvania was terrible! Waste of my time and ripped me off $45 extra dollars for no reason! Screw this place! They're all of bunch of lazy theves!! DONT GO HERE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!! Terrible service too!!

We went to get a quote to get half an exhaust system put on, they told us it would be almost $500 to do that. We knew that didn't sound right, so we took the car elsewhere to be looked at, at a place called Glods, they are doing it for $120 way less than the way too steep price of close to $500. Definitely will NOT go back. Also the customer service skills, and communication skills are lacking. I'd give 0 stars if that was an option.

As another young female, I was completely taken advantage of. Said I needed all of these things done after I needed a new muffler and made me feel like I had the deal of a lifetime. Other mechanics have told me they would have charged half of the price I paid. They put my muffler on crooked and took 2 hours to fix it. They gave me a coupon for a free oil change to fix their mistake. I took it there for the oil change and they refused to do it because of a stabilizer bar (that he also wanted me to buy off of him).. I took my car to Husnick's and they said that Monro's were being lazy and just did not want to use the clamps to take it off. The manager talks over you and tries to hustle the sale. He knows what he is doing too! BEWARE!

I had scheduled an appt. for an oil change and brought my car in just waiting for a call back to let me know when it was finished. The phone call consisted of plenty of things that were said to be "wrong" and it was urgent to get those things repaired... trying to pressure me into getting them instantly fixed. I denied and went to Auto Zone to have those things checked and all passed! I am a young woman that they thought they could possibly make a few extra bucks from since I don't have much knowledge when it comes to vehicles. They were very dumbstruck and embarrassed because they know I proved them wrong! They suck and they are a rip off! Go else where!!!

The worst experience I've ever had in my life! They broke my screw that releases the oil from my car. They broke the oil pan then tried to glue it back together. They even broke my air filer! Then to top it off they sold me a $100 tire (normally $40) and it went flat not even a week later!!!! BEWARE!!!
