Dr. Wayne has been my choice for over 15 years because of his conservative yet aggressive approach to pain management. My husband had an appointment with Doctor Wayne,to get a nerve conduction study. The front desk people were great, his nurse was great and he did an awesome job with the study. My problem is with his nurse that scheduled the appointment and told me the amount I would have to pay. Miss Kim told me after looking it up herself, that all our part to pay would be $200 no more and I would not get any bills in the mail. WOW!!!! guess what ? I got a bill anyway for a measly $49.57 and even that was added wrong by 1 penny. All she had to do was give me the wright amount from the get go, don't lie !!!!!

I had a horrible experience at the Shrader location of Advanced Orthopaeiecs. I saw Dr Higgs for a shoulder injury I had sustained from a car accident.The front desk staff were friendly and got me through the registration process fairly fast.Once I was sent to the the waiting area, I waited for over an hour (even though I was told to arrive 20 minutes early to allow time for paperwork), I then approached a young lady and the front desk and asked how long the wait would be, she told me the Dr was over an hour and a half behind. Nobody had come out to tell the FULL waiting area that he was behind.When I was eventually called back to my appointment I waited another hour before the Dr actually came into the room, he gave me no more than 10 minutes of his time, his assistant was rude and unhelpful. The Dr half inspected my shoulder and gave me an X-ray which took another half an hour, he then sent me to physical therapy, which I never went to as he told me I could only use their physical theorist. I will never come back to Advanced Orthopaedics, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

Great doctors and medical support staff. The administrative staff and billing staff are not professional and will never allow this business to be the best in the area.

Advanced Ortho is the best ortho practice in VA. The doctors are very knowledgeable and really do care about their patients. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my ortho needs.
