We love ACP! It is wonderful as a working mom to know that my boys are having fun and learning at the same time. They are both excited daily to go see their friends and teachers at ACP. The staff is amazing and goes above to make sure kids and parents are happy and you can't ask for more. They are constantly making changes and updating the facility and playground (and what kid wouldn't love that).

My Son Has attended ACP since he was 10 weeks old. He is now 9 and still attends. ACP provides my family peace of mind on the days that he attends. I know he will always be taken care of.

so these people are awesome!!!! I used to have my daughter in a franchised daycare near by and she hated it, we didn't know why she didn't want to go every morning. But ever since we switched to A Childs Place she absolutely loves it. the teachers are incredible. they do so much for the children and are very professional. My daughter has learned so much while she has been there and she amazes me all the time with the new stuff she learns. So when we had our second child it was a no brainer to enroll her also. my youngest is in the infant room and all the teachers are also great! I never have to worry that my girls are in good hands because I know they are while they are there.

My son has been going to ACP since he was 10 weeks old. I went to work everyday knowing that he was in the best hands. Fast Forward 8 years later and I still have that same peace of mind. Ms. Denise and her staff take Child Care very seriously. My son and I am happy to be part of the ACP Family.

It is nice to know that my child has a 'second home' while she is at daycare everyday. I know she enjoys where she is every day and I can see such excellent progress in her knowledge and motor skills and milestones each day!

My son has attended ACP since he was 6 months old and is now 2 years old. ACP is his family away from home. If you want your child to feel welcomed and loved I would recommend ACP.

My son has been attending ACP for the past year and we really love it there. He is in the infant/toddler room and had formed a really special bond with his teachers.

The facilities are great and they have a spotless inspection record. I have found the management to be responsible and flexible as well. The staff plan fun and educational activities and outings. The mobile app that you can download onto your phone makes life a little easier as well.

I highly recommend ACP to anyone looking for infant/toddler childcare.

My son started going to Prek the start of the school year. He had some struggles starting school since he was at home before this. The teachers were great with helping him transition. They have a new program in which at the end of the day they send you an email with the summary of your childs day. I love this feature as I am a single mother and when I don't have my son, I still get to see what he did in school that day. My son has learned important readiness skills to begin kindergarten this fall.

As an employee for a little over 2 years now and also a mother of a child that attends a child's place I love it! Even if I ever switched jobs my son would still attend here for preschool. The teachers are all awesome and we definitely work as a team to make sure all of the children are very well taking care of. The mangers also work very well with us (the employees) to make sure we are going above a beyond for our children and parents. Not just as an employee but as a parent here at Acp we genuinely really love and care about our children!! We really do become family with our family's.

Almost 4 years at ACP!

We have been going to ACP since my 4 y.o. son was 3 months and now our infant twins are also attending. The staff is so warm and loving and they really do a lot to make sure they are keeping you informed of what's going on to help you feel comfortable. They have a new tool too that sends me emails and pictures of the kids and what they did each day. We are very happy with our decision to send out kids to ACP and feel like they are just an extension of our family!

I decided to put my 9 month old son at ACP Ridgefield as the reviews were great and there were only a few babies in his class. Within 3 months I took him out and put him into another daycare. I was unhappy about many things but here are the most important:

- one of the most worrying things: I came in one day during nap time to find my son completely covered with a blanket including his head, I was not sure how he could breath. By the way the blanket was arranged neatly, it was clear he did not pull it over himself. I also saw little babies just a few weeks old with their head covered to get them to sleep easier. I had to make a remark 3 times, including sending the director a link to the AAP SIDS guidelines before the rule was set that the blankets could go no longer over the face. Just a sign of how unprofessional this daycare is.

- the class room became crowded quickly and then it became clear that the rooms are too small and there are way too few toys. Often, because staff was shifted around, there were too many kids to one teacher even though theoretically, they were within the guidelines.

-because all of a sudden more babies were enrolled, my son was forced out of his crib and into a one nap schedule way too early to get him moved up to the toddler section as soon as possible. When I made a point of wanting him to move up only when he was ready and not before the age promised when I enrolled, I got the patronizing remark that sometimes babies are ready but mommy’s are not. They said he climbed out of his crib to get him onto a cot, which is absolutely impossible, the crib sides came to his chest and he still does not climb up anything above his waist. Just before I left I was told he had to move up to the toddler section at 13 months as babies were waiting for his spot. When I enrolled they had said 14-16 months. My son still takes 2 naps a day now that he is allowed again, at 13 months, a clear sign that he was not ready for the toddler schedule.

-My son never stopped crying when I left him there the whole 3 months, and I was told several times that "kids just cry to punish their parents, they stop as soon as you leave" (really???). Within 2 weeks at his new daycare, he stopped crying when I left, a clear sign that I did good taking him out.

-The facilities are basic and when you look closely not too clean (kid's toys for instance). There are not many toys and I could not imagine my son being interested for a long time there. There is also not much of a curriculum which is important if you are interested in your child’s development.

- The food they serve is mostly junk food and the fruit and vegetables they do serve come out of a can. There are lots of burgers, chicken nuggets, hot dogs etc. on the menu, which I did not notice when I first enrolled him as he was still on a bottle.

Like I said, there were more things I did not like but my advice is: don’t put your child in this day care. There are many better places around which cost the same or less.

We love ACP! My 2.5 year old son attends the Ridgefield location. He loves going to "school" each day. He always talks about his teachers and friends. The staff is very welcoming, caring, and knowledgeable. They offer full time and part time care, which is very helpful for working parents. They are very flexible and willingly to work with your schedule. I highly recommend this preschool =)

This place is amazing!! Our daughter loves to go to class every day. They offer a variety of activities for all of the children. This fall, we have signed her up for ballet/tap dance. ACP had a "water day" every week for the children to play in the water. She has accelerated in learning songs, ABC's, 123's, colors, shapes, you name it they have done it. She loves all of her teachers in which I believe ACP has done an excellent job in filling the career opportunities.

I chose A Child's Place for my girls for many reasons. Good location, great staff, nice classrooms and playground. They allow cloth diapering, which not many day cares do. My eldest daughter has grown up there and loves all her teachers. I can drop in whenever to check on her and they welcome my voicing any concerns, questions or suggestions. They have been wonderful!
