A doctor who listens. Dr. Daugherty is an amazing doctor. He listened to every concern, question and frustration I had. He talked treatments and even alternatives easily and readily with me. I never felt rushed or talked down to... I'm a little overweight. He never made me feel bad about it. He never blamed my health on my weight. But he did offer a few book suggestions after I asked about healthier diet options on a budget. He was kind and professional, knowledgeable and a good listener. A rare mix in doctors today.

I have been seeing Dr. Daugherty for a few years now. I was referred to him by a friend of mine who is a physician. He is extremely thorough and listens to any health concerns I might have. I have heard other people say that Dr. Daugherty has saved their lives by detecting underlying health issues that other doctors had missed. I trust him with my health!

My husband and I both had appointments on the same day for New patient physical examinations. We really appreciated how thorough Dr. Daugherty was during the examination. We feel like we had his utmost attention during the entire process. I thought he was kind, intelligent, and compassionate. He did not lecture me about my weight, which I am already self conscious about. He merely made some suggestions on how I could improve my diet and activity level. My husband and I will continue to see Dr. Daugherty as our physician, because we feel we are in good hands.

About 5 minutes after Dr. Daugherty walked into the room, I knew I had made a mistake picking this doctor. He never looked at me - only glanced occasionally. When he was going over my history, I told him I had Hashimotos disease and that I didn't know everything about the disease and he stated that I didn't need to know anything about it....it is a womens disease ...He never discussed anything with me and didn't seem to listen because he kept repeating things that contridicted what I had said earlier. He was listening to my heart and asked if I had ever been told I had a heart murmur and I said no, then he went onto something else. He was overbearing and did not give me a chance to question him. Now I am very concerned because I have had chest pains in the past and present. Then he had me lay on the table and extended the leg rest for me and when he fininshed he walked off to his table to make notes then started asking me questions the entire time I am laying down on the table then all of a sudden he said you can get up now and get dressed and he was out the door. I had trouble getting off the table especially with the leg extension still out. I never saw him again. I will be finding another doctor and will have my files transferred because I DO need to know and I need a doctor that will give me the opportunity to ask questions and will be happy to discuss my health with me.
