Best shop in town. I wouldn't take my vehicles to any other shop. Great experience from beginning to end. Would recommend to anyone!

I took my truck to Steve's Body shop because he advertised that he was the best in town and that he would help with deductibles. My truck had scratches on the bed and he said he would have to paint the whole side of the truck. He painted the side of truck and it had a place in the paint that looked like a checker board. When I showed it to him, he acted like he couldn't see it and then agreed to paint it again. He painted it again and there was a run in the paint and the paint had dirt in it. He said he would paint it again. When he finished this time there was still dirt in the paint and you could see a reflection in the paint as well. He had the truck for 12 days and did a sloppy job all 3 times. Someone also drove my truck and ran the front tire up on a curb. The tires on the truck were brand new and there was a scratch all the way around it. After getting my truck back, I took it to 2 other body shops and they both said that he didn't take the trim off or the bumpers off or the molding around the back window before painting. Steve Keen told me when I asked him about the truck looking two-toned that it had been painted before. When I asked the other 2 body shops about this they said he didn't blend the paint in. Paid him $1173.00 and the other two shops wanted $2200.00 and $1850.00 to fix what he messed up. This has been one sorry mess.

STEVE IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I would not trust this man to work on anything let alone a vehicle worth thousands of dollars. He is extremely disrespectful to the point of incessant screaming of vulgar language and profane names no matter now nice you are in return. This man is absolutely terrible. There is also no way to work with anyone BUT Steve as he insists that "This is Steve's Body Shop? Well I'm Steve so youll be working with me." Terrible Terrible decision and I'm so glad we got out when we did. I was legitimately scared to speak with him.

DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN WITH YOUR MONEY OR YOUR CAR.

I met with Steve Keen of Steve's Auto Body and Paint in Henderson, KY and contracted his services to paint my 1993 Chevrolet 2500. The arrangement was that I provide him with a $600 security deposit (towards a total of $4,000) and my truck parts and he would paint the truck parts with in 2 months, at the end of the 2 months I would bring him the truck's chassis and he would mount all the parts back on the truck.

Upon first bringing him the truck parts, there was a discrepancy about how best to get them off the trailer. He proceeded to become extremely infuriated and yelled at me with extreme vulgar language for a long time. He was completely unable to be spoken to and demanded I back my vehicle into a busy highway.

After 3 months (1 month after the agreed upon end date), I called to check on the progression of my truck parts. I spoke with his secretary who told me nothing had been done and that I should come get my stuff. I asked to speak with Steve to get more information and she told me to call back in an hour. I called back after an hour. Steve answered and upon hearing my voice began screaming again. He used extremely vulgar language and told me he was going to throw my stuff out on the road if I didn't get it that night (an impossible feat as I do not own a trailer myself to do so) as well as calling me a slurry of profane names.

I got a lawyer involved who arranged that I would provide the transportation for the truck parts and he would provide the labor to load the parts. I then called him to set up a date to get them back. He proceeded to yell again and threatened to leave them out in the parking lot for anyone to take.

I called back later and spoke with one of his assistants and arranged that the truck parts would be left outside the shop that night for me to pick up. Upon arriving, I discovered that they had not in fact left them outside as promised. I knocked on the doors until Steve came out and finally returned my truck parts and money to me. However, he did not provide the labor to load the parts like agreed upon but thankfully I had brought many helping hands.

In conclusion, Steve is an extremely irrational man who did everything in his power to keep from doing his contracted work. Had I not been extremely persistent and resourceful (friends to help load the parts as well as keep me safe, trailers to haul, lawyers to keep the truck parts from ending up on the street or sold, etc), I never would have seen my truck parts again and would've lost thousands of dollars. Steve can not be trusted or dealt with as he is not a man that can be reasoned with and will yell, scream, and mistreat anyone he sees fit. I am glad I had a group of large friends with me as I wonder how this story would've ended had I been alone. This process turned from a 2 month paint job into a 6 month battle to get my stuff back.

I took my wife car here to be repaired by Steve and his careless crew. First off I was quoted 1108 for the passenger side door repair and side mirror replaced. I was told it would be done in 5 days. Well I finally got the call that it was done 2 weeks later. When I arrived at Steve's the passenger side of the car was fixed but the busted mirror had been glued back on still broken! I then looked at the driver side and it was damaged in multiple places with HUGE scratches and HUGE chips in the paint!! Then we look inside the car and it is filthy dirty with bondo dust all over and the front passenger seat had been broken! How that happens I do not know, but it was very apparent the car had been driven more than just in and out of the garage. We then went in the shop and asked his wife about the damage and she denied every bit of it and walked back in. Her whole demeanor had changed as soon as she got the payment for the job. We then went back out to the car to try and fix the seat. While we were taking pictures of the damage, Steve came storming out of the shop cursing and yellin and was very irate. Steve then proceeded to threaten my life by saying to my wife "I hope you have life insurance on him, (referring to myself) because he is going to end up in the county morgue!" I then asked him "is that a threat" and Steve said "no, that's a promise!" So that was my experience at Steve's Auto Body and Paint. He is obviously a low life and a terrible business man. It would be a terrible decision to take any vehicle there for any type of work since this place operates by dishonesty and carelessness. I would advise anyone to never take their vehicle here because it will leave in worse shape than when you dropped it off!
