Great service here! The place was packed yet the waitress was able to be attentive to all of her tables. Food came out in good time and my glass never got empty. After I got my first glass of tea I didn't even get half way through and I already had my salad. Not too long after I finished that, out came my fried seafood platter. The waitress, Ashton, did a her job to perfection. The food itself was better than expected for a small town seafood place tucked to the side off of a major highway. I had fried crawfish tail, which could've used a bit more flavor, fried catfish, which was cooked well but again lacked flavor, and fried shrimp all on a bed of fries. The fried shrimp is worth going back. Great flavor and cooked perfectly. I gave this 4 stars because of the great service and surprisingly good food. However, it fell short of 5 because food has the potential to be a lot better. I suggest if you ever find yourself on 290 near Hempstead, it is worth the stop.
