shrimp was bad. looked and tasted like gorden frozen shrimp. rip off. same stuff you buy at the store.

Two couples went for dinner on Valentines day . The two ladies had Sea food and enjoyed it. My male friend had a minuscule piece of Filet which was cooked per his request. I chose the 12oz prime rib which was delivered med/rare as requested. Unfortunately the "Prime" rib was extremely tough. Hard to cut with the steak knife provided and nearly impossible to chew! After delivering our meals, the server didn't return to check on us until the check was presented. The owner/manager did ask how everything was as we were leaving. When told that the "Prime rib" was anything but "Prime" he just said he would inform the Chef and walked away. I doubt we will return.

Food was averge but service was absolutely horrible. The restaurant was not busy but we were unable to even get a refill on our water before the check came. A huge issue is that they automatically add 15% "service charge" to your bill. I would not have left a 15% tip because of the poor service. Very disappointing because Hemet needs good restaurants. Obviously we will not be going back.

For my birthday, my family and I had dinner at the Hungry Bear Restaurant in Hemet and being its a brand new restaurant our expectations were pretty guarded but to our surprise we had good service and everyone in our party complimented how delicious our meal was. We all had the HB steak and it was cooked to our liking. The staff made my birthday incredibly enjoyable and we will be letting our friends know that they too should try our this new restaurant. Had a wonderful evening.
