Systems Technology is a small, employee-owned research and development company located in Hawthorne, Calif. Founded in 1957 to study the behavior of dynamic systems, including ground and aerospace vehicles and the human operators attempting to control them, STI has become an internationally-recognized center of expertise. As a prime contractor to the United States Government and a consultant to industry, STI has accomplished several hundred research and development programs in vehicle dynamics in air, space, ground and sea. This also includes manual and automatic vehicular guidance and control systems, handling and flying qualities, control and stability theory, human operator dynamics, human subsystem dynamics, operator impairment and other associated areas.
