This review is in December 2011. I've had difficulty finding a place to get my hand saws sharpened. Finally I started looking online and called around to get estimates. One place quoted $20 (what?!) and said he'd only do rip saws, not cross-cut. Another charges $10 and sounds more professional. But that's still a chunk of change to only get my saw sharpened, so I kept calling. I found Master Repointing and talked with the owner Wayne. He sounded friendly & professional - like an old hand at it, and said he'd charge me less than $5 apiece to sharpen the saws and he'd have them ready in 24 hours. I thought it was worth a gamble and tried him out. Sure enough, everything turned out to be a great transaction. This place is a real find -- the kind of place I want to support!
