Established by Dr. Glenn Lawhon, senior, it was passed to his son, Dr. Glenn J. Lawhon, junior. When the second Dr. Lawhon retired, Sandy Memorial was then passed along to Dr. Nicki Taylor. As a Clemson University and Virginia Tech graduate, Dr. Taylor’s goal is to offer exceptional patient care. As a life-long Hartsville native, she provides that care with friendly, small-town customer service. Along with her courteous and dedicated staff, Dr. Taylor offers services including vaccinations and preventive health care, surgeries and post-surgical care, emergency services and hospitalization, boarding and grooming, and acupuncture. The hospital’s full-service pharmacy carries both prescription and over the counter medications and supplies, ranging from shampoos to heartworm and flea preventions.
