Unprofessional, poor selection, horrendous customer service and completely inflexible....

I visited Something Blue Too with my stepdaughter today to try see a prom dress she put on hold. After a couple of hours, we chose several dresses for her to try on including the dress she had on hold, although their selection was very limited. I would have left the store without a purchase at all except that her mother had already provided her financial information to the store, since we were splitting the cost. We spent over two hours in the store with a highly uninformed sales staff; they could neither answer any questions about the limited stock in the store, nor did they seem to know anything about formalwear in general.

After we had finally selected the perfect dress, which was not the one she had originally put on hold, the store manager (at least I think she was the manager, she did not have the manners to properly introduce herself), confronted me and asked why I didn't like the dress, because everyone liked it last week. I explained that although it was a lovely dress (not really), but it did not properly fit my stepdaughter, and I showed her where it did not fit. The fact that they did not recognize it did not fit makes them either stupid or swindlers, just looking to sell anything to anyone.

She came back a few minutes later and told me that the ill fitting dressed had already been purchased by her mother last week. I asked how a dress could be purchased when it was neither paid for nor had it left the store, she said it was removed from their sales floor for a few days which is considered a sale, and they had already charged her mother for a portion of the total and therefore could not do an exchange. Once again, I asked how a dress that was not yet purchased was a final purchase?!

It was at that point, I saw the look on my stepdaughter's face and realized this awful woman was taking this experience away from her. I stayed with her while my husband handled the finances so we didn't create a scene.

To make a long story short, we had to purchase the chosen dress outright and forfeit the $300 her mother paid, so we paid $800 for a $458 dress. Yes, we could have left with the original dress and paid the proper amount for it, but I love my stepdaughter, and she only gets one opportunity to have the perfect prom, and I was not going to let this poor excuse of a dress shop to ruin it for her!

We had excellent service! The staff is so helpful and friendly. The plus size selection was superior to any other stores the area.

talked to the manufacturer before, I thought it was the only way to go about having my headpiece turned into jewelry. I called the bridal shop to see when I should bring it in. They said they didnt handle anything with the headpiece following the wedding and that I would have to check the manufacturers website for further instructions. I thought that was extremely weird and was a little upset that I was going to have to take the time and money to ship the headpiece; however I checked the manufacturers website for the shipping instructions only to find out that the restringing process was going to cost me at least another $100.00. I called The Something Blue Shop back, thinking this HAS to be a mistake the absolute only reason my father allowed me to purchase the overly expensive headpiece was because we were told that at no additional charge it would be made into something I could wear on a daily basis. I was told by The Something Blue that I MUST have been mistaken, that none of

I did find the perfect dress at The Something Blue Shop - however, the shop ordered the wrong size and made no apologies, just we will fix it; in the end, my dress was gorgeous, but I didnt know what my final dress looked like until the week of my wedding (alterations that I had to pay for, of course, approximately $200.00) which was unnecessary stress on my part. Also, they told me when I ordered my $1200 dress that they would call me when it came in I waited and finally called them, it was in the store. Then I ordered my $400.00 headpiece and $250.00 veil from them. The absolute only reason that I bought the $400.00 headpiece was because I was told that the particular brand that I was purchasing could be sent back to the manufacturer and be made into a piece of jewelry free of charge. A month after my wedding, I went to send the headpiece back to the manufacturer, thinking that I would take it to the bridal shop and they would take care of things for me because I had never
