We have been using Michigan Appliance Repair for our repairs for a few years now. We have always been pleased with them and will continue to call, though sometimes they come a little later than they say.

I had a very nice gentleman out to fix my washer. I was very happy that he was able to fix it that day, and he cleaned it all out when he was there too.

I had a new gas range installed and the next day had a gas leak. I called this company and they put me on their schedule the same day, and the man that came not only called first to let me know, but he put covers on his shoes, gave my dogs a biscuit and made me feel safe. He found my gas leak very quickly and made the repair. He went out of his way to show me some of the new features on my stove and made sure that I was informed about how to clean it and properly maintain it so as not to void any warranty. I would recommend anyone give this company a try, my experience was top notch!!!

People.... Read the reviews. Almost everyone other review is bad and I agree. "Michigan Appliance Repair" offers ........ Awful service...... I called a week prior to book an appointment to repair an expensive Bosch dishwasher purchased from Lowe's. Lowe's gave us a phone number to call..... "Superior Home Services".... .and then "Michigan Appliance Repair" answers the call. They made me wait all day and cancelled the appointment with me at 515 pm. Plus they were rude about it on the phone. Don't bother with company. Awful....Awful.....Awful.

Our microwave stopped heating up food so we called Michigan Appliance Repair. Normally we'd just buy a new one, but this was mounted and also a hood exhaust so we didn't want the hassle of having to unmount it and mount a new one. They told us there was a $68 fee to come out, and that they wouldn't make it out for another week. A week later, they called to cancel because their technician couldn't make it, and pushed it out for another two days. When they guy finally arrived he reeked of cigarette smoke and was like: I'm here to repair your dryer... I said it's actually a microwave, he's like: oh yeah, it just said it won't heat so I assumed... He takes off the front cover and quickly diagnoses it as the diode is broken. When I asked him to show me the process (out of pure curiosity to learn this for myself), he finds out that the diode actually works fine and that it was actually his finger that was conducting the electricity from holding the part wrong. So now he's scratching his head... and then quickly re-diagnoses it as the entire magnetron is broken and it would be $368 to repair it (way more than the cost of a microwave). The problem is, I have no idea if he actually knows what he's doing when he can't even hold the diode correctly to not run electricity through his own finger. I had to pay the $68 anyways even though they send out complete idiots to waste your time.

I had a great experience with this company. Even though I waited until the last minute to call about my oven not working, they were able to get the part and get back out in time for Thanksgiving. They didn't even charge me extra though I would have paid it (I was desperate) Life savers! Thank you Michigan Appliance Repair and thank you Charlie;) I will def call again.

We had a very bad experience with this company. We asked them to come take a look at our stove, because the control panel wasn't working. We were told there was a $68 diagnostic fee, which could be applied toward the cost of a repair, and we agreed to this. When the technician arrived, he told my husband that he couldn't find the serial number of our stove, so there was nothing he could tell us about the specific repairs. Lo and behold, we still got a bill for the $68, even though they didn't diagnose anything! (they told us, 'your stove's control panel is broken'. Thanks guys--we already knew that). I called three times to try to get them to drop the charges, but got nowhere--the service staff were rude, defensive, and generally unhelpful. So I wrote a check for $68, and this review. Please don't give them your business.

We were so pleased with Nathan from Michigan Appliance. We had several service companies out and they continued to replace parts on our Bosch Oven, but it was never repaired when they left. Nathan came out and spent a lot of time really checking everything out. He ordered a part, was back in less than a week to repair it, and it is now working perfectly. We will continue to use Michigan Appliance; very professional and smart.

We had purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Lowes in September of 2011. We had also purchased the 4-year extended protection warranty plan as well. In April of 2013, we had encountered and issue with our dishwasher because of the way it was installed, not with the dishwasher itself. Through the extended warranty, Lowes forwarded us to Michigan Appliance to come and repair the issue.

The technician arrived on time. Unfortunately, he also arrived with a very poor disposition. He was curt and unpleasant. It was clear he could not be bothered with providing satisfactory customer service from the moment he entered my home.

He looked over the dishwasher and concluded that it would require $465 in repairs and service fees. He said the mounting brackets and door hinges were broken. I was floored.

He essentially accused us of having someone or something "sit on the dishwasher door" and that was why the dishwasher was not sitting properly in the cabinet. This was false.

Due to his rude attitude and the astronomical quote he had given me, I looked elsewhere for service.

We called AAA Service Network and had a delightful technician who was able to diagnose and repair the dishwasher for $98! Neither the mounting bracket nor the door hinges were broken.

In addition to all this headache, Lowes is refusing responsibility of the repair.

The service provided by Michigan Appliance was pitiful. Their service technician was discourteous and presumably ill-equipped for the job as his diagnosis was far from the actual issue. The communication from their office was also lacking, as no one notified me when Lowes said they refused to pay for the repair.

I would recommend Michigan Appliance to NO ONE!

*Note that Michigan Appliance is also under the name of Superior Home Services.*

Very pleased with our service....

Very pleased with our service. We were supposed to have a morning appointment but due to an emergency with your staff we had to wait until the afternoon. You clearly had to shuffle to get some one out, he was nice, quick and fixed my dryer. Will use you for all future repairs. 22687

Excellent company. We received...

Excellent company. We received service from a tech last November, then this November we had trouble with our dishwasher again. Everything was covered under their warranty. The tech was very friendly and polite as well as their customer service. The only company in the area that offers $50 off to new customers and offers $30 to returning customers if you fill out a survey and has such a great warranty on their work. I'll never use anyone else again.

They seemed to know what they ...

They seemed to know what they were doing, but were more interested in selling me on their repair service at an additional $200 than they were actually servicing my claim, which was under an extended warranty. The second company that was sent out to fix the dryer actually fixed it, no questions asked.
