About Westerfeld Enterprises In the mid 1970's, Bill Westerfeld, was heavily involved in off road racing as both a competitor and innovator. Bill worked as head mechanic of the Off Road Center located in Cincinnati, Ohio, building high performance VW engines and transmissions. In June of 1988, Bill founded Westerfeld Enterprises ( WE ) in Harrison, Ohio. Westerfeld Enterprises was built upon the reputation earned from his career as a racer and experienced gained as head mechanic at Off Road Center.
