DO NOT GO HERE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!! i don't even know where to begin! We have roadside assistance through AMEX and they provided us with a tow by this company. We were towed to their shop but before agreeing to be towed we asked for rough pricing for an alternator. Let me add we knew the problem with the car before the tow truck had even arrived. So the tow guy Mike priced us roughly 350 for parts and labor. The following day we follow up with the shop to ask for exact pricing and their price doubled. They were charging us 700 for parts and labor. We decided not to go ahead with the shop because we felt were were given the "bait and switch" bad business we decided to go elsewhere. This is where it got interesting, they then told us we would be charged 100 for looking at the car, where 1- we already knew what was wrong with the car and 2- we were told that we would not have to pay anything if we decided not to go through with services. We were upset but did not want to risk anything else with the car so we agreed to pay. They then said they would only accept cash for this transaction because they feared we would fight the charge.... what? So i went personally into the shop after much back and forth on the phone and decided to pick up my car immediately. I arrived at the shop and spoke with the owner Tommy who i explained that i am willing to pay the charge Amex or Visa which ever they preferred, but i was not paying cash. In a very unprofessional manner he stated " so you're telling me how you're going to pay me?". So he refused to give me my car unless i paid cash, this is when the yelling and arguing began. Some elderly lady who i was told was his wife was yelling and cursing at me telling me i would not get my car and to " get the F out". They then pushed us out of the office and slammed the door. I had to call the police , and finally got my car back. This place does not know or understand the concept of PROFESSIONALISM. They lack any education as they were unable to carry a conversation without yelling and cursing. i went to the dealership and paid more and it was worth every penny to deal with actual human beings.

Truly disappointed in my exper...

Truly disappointed in my experience here for the first and only time. I truly felt I was ripped off and taken advantage of. I do not recommend any customer to this garage. My car was serviced for one known issue due to a break down. Rather than just fix the issue and let me be on my way, I was told of two other problems that had never existed before entering this garage, one of which, a shifting issue, which suddenly occurred and that it had to be fixed or else it couldn't be driven out of their lot so it was claimed...I never had a shifting problem since owning the car in 2007 but approved them to fix it, which was my fault. They then claimed an engine warning light indicated another problem, which had never appeared before but claimed I must had seen it..As I felt this was questionable and beginning to think it was a scam to get more money out of me I denied them to fix this issue and immediately took it to my regular local mechanic, which charged a $300.00 diagnostic fee. As for the engine warning light issue, I was notified that a fuse, which caused the engine warning light to come on was missing. Because the fuse was removed was why the engine warning light came on...I was also notified that a piece of the shifting console was missing. This part will cost me $400.00 to replace. I was also notified that I now have a tiptronic electronic switch failure, which will cost me $800 to fix. Mysteriously all of the above became issues after this garage worked on my car. I will be looking to file a report to the Better Business Bureau as well. I have never had a mechanic experience like this in my life time and truly hope you do not experience the same. STAY AWAY PLEASE. Based on my experience their ethics and integrity are questionable.

Completely unprofessional. The concept of customer care is unknown to them. These crooks are being contracted to do roadside assistance by major insurances and car clubs. Given initially 45 mins wait time for tow truck to arrive, I gave them a call to check the status after 1hr and was told to wait another 40 mins. After I politely suggested that it would be more than 2 times more that initial estimate, the lady (if I can call her that) on the other side of the line became very rude and agitated and told me that I need to cancel the call and hung up on me. So if you are ever in need of roadside assistance or a tow truck, and your car club or insurance tells you that they are going to dispatch Intercontinental- request another provider. You will thank me later

There was very unprofessional service. Jack brought my car into Intercontinental Repair Shop for repairing. It took my car 2 weeks to repair because the shop did not have all necessary parts for my car (Hyundai Sonata 2011). He told me the address of the shop, which is 179 Osborne Road, Harrison, NY.

On Monday, Feb 11, 2013, I called him and asked when I can take my car. He told me I can come on Wednesday (Feb 13) or on Thursday (Feb 14), and he said “OK”. I decided to come on Thursday, and I told him about this. When I came to Harrison I could not find the repairing shop using this address. There where private houses around. When I called Jack, he told me that the repairing shop actually locates in Rye. Before I came he told me that it locates in Harrison, and that’s the official address.

When I reached his office, he told me that he did not expect me. He forgot that we agreed I come over on Thursday, Feb. 14. Moreover, he told me to pay the balance I owe the shop with cash, not with a check or a money order or a credit card. He did not tell me before. I could not withdraw cash from the nearest bank because something was wrong with that ATM machine. And he told me to come next time – no matter what. Should I add that he was very nasty and arrogant?

If you contact this repair shop, you will waste a lot of time and nerves.

For the person with the Porsch...

For the person with the Porsche....Maybe its you that knows nothing of how to tow a Porsche. I know for a fact that you do indeed need to have it flatbed-ed and need to use wood planks to raise it up off the ground as you load the car onto the flatbed. If you do not you will then scratch the car up and would have had a lot of other damage. This company has towed my Porsche 930 wide body on numerous occasions. And if you didn't know my 930 is only an inch off the ground. If they didn't put the wood down I would have told them to leave. I believe you are just being ignorant.

And as far as putting a claim in, what is that going to do. If you were putting it through your roadside...well I would just like to inform you that my roadside is the one that informed me on how the tow truck driver should be loading the car and that they are only to use a flatbed. Maybe you should familiarize your self with your owners manual. And then maybe apologize to the company that was going to tow you.

Have a nice day!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they a...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they are lying thieves! Scraped the bottom of a brand new Porsche Panamera Turbo when they tried to tow it with the wrong truck & drove it straight up the back. He then pulled out two planks of wood to get it up there at which point we told him to leave. When trying to make a claim later they denied everything! How people can be so extremely dishonest is beyond me.
